Keez, back in 2010 when I was going through a very rough time in my life, this video saved me. It literally saved my life. It made me believe in the power of cinema, and that there was something more important to continue to believe in. While I had to deal with my emotions, I was on the brink of giving up, when this video appeared. It introduced me to Indie music, and that we are all experiencing our lives in our own unique way. Kees, thank you for saving me.

Its things like these that remind why I want to be a filmmaker one day in the future. There is so much more to them beyond simple entertainment. They are an art form that takes the audience's imagination away to a whole new place, and gives the audience a way to seperate themselves from the bleak reality. There holds no bounds to the human imagination, and movies are among the only things that can test it. Like many have said before, films will never die, they will only become bigger and better.

I found Cinema 2010 different than last year's, in a good way. This one has a more nostalgic tone (especially at the end) but I find that's how I feel whenever I look back at all the movies I've watched. I thought it was beautiful. Thank you!

Waiting for cinema 2010 was worth every single day that i counted till its permiere. It's mature but touching, heart-warming but grandeuse at the same time, and lives up to my expectations. it might not include all the notable movies of this year but in this way it escapes this custom of guessing the title of the footage in favour of a more smooth and united piece which is centered around a purposeful idea.

I think I came in expecting to be uplifted as I did with Cinema 2009, and that's what made this one harder to enjoy. Believe me, I love your editing and clip choices. I guess I just shouldn't have expected it to be a sequel to the previous one.

I really enjoyed this video. Cinema 2009 was better, I was simply blown away when I first watched that one. After viewing 2010, I was confused but then read on about how you decided to make a more personal approach to it and reading the interview you gave, it made sense to me why you did what you did. That is, taking what you love to do and what you have come to appreciate in the past year of films and just wanting to express that in the best way you know how. Look forward to your future work!

So it doesn't have an uplifiting ending, but neither does life. There is no great culminating moment where every problem is resolved, justice is served, and the good guys live on happily. I think this video has a really honest and beautiful meaning--life isn't all rainbows and butterflies, and at the end of this movie, you die. So stop living waiting for some distant, vague thing you think is waiting for you, because it isn't. Live for today and all the beauty of the present.
