great honest video the only ones I've seen so far is a dealer borrowing a bike doing a walkround, its nice to have a real owner giving honest feedback, I have a 125 honda PCX scooter but taking loads of flack from everyone thinking Im a pizza delivery rider and as a 51 year old bus driver I get frustrated with riding on L plates and now looking into a proper bike to learn gears and pass the dreaded test this video has helped make the decision that much easier, thanks for posting and please upload more your a natural blogger,, ride safe.

Thanks for the kind words. Just a few things I mention in the vid to be aware of; lack of storage and speed. There's zero storage and its not rapid off the mark. That being said, other than that its a belting ride. I've heard the Sinnis Hoodlum is a good bike also and I believe its cheaper. Check, but I'm certain the Hoodlum is a rebadged Lexmoto Michigan. Be aware, these are all big bikes for 125's, so you will lose acceleration and top speed, compared to a plastic 125cc scooter. I speak from experience! 😀

I think I would put an aluminium plate between the bottom of the pannier and the exhaust pipe. If getting metal is difficult try using a small flat oven roasting dish or Similar from a supermarket, about £4. Mine is a really great bike very comfortable.👍

Hi, I'm 65, 6ft, 7:27 15st and let's just say not as flexible as I once was. I am going to take my cbt in the near future. I am thinking about possible motorcycles that would be comfortable to ride and I think your Keeway superlight might fit the bill. I was wondering how you have found the reliability, as I intend to do several journeys around the UK, sticking to A&B roads and would like to know if you have made any decent length journeys and if it's capable of plodding along at say 55mph fuel consumption mpg. Best wishes 2U and safe riding. Kim

Hey mate. Sorry about the late reply. I've been very satisfied with it. I had to have the electric start unit replace as it developed an intermittent fault and wouldn't activate the fuel pump. And I replaced the battery, but otherwise a solid ride. PM me if you want to ask anything else :)

Nice bike . Really looks the part . I love the cruiser style . I have a Honda Rebel . Looks very similar . I also missed the storage after having a scooter bit I fitted similar panniers to yours . It's just a shame that they don't go up to the maximum power allowed for a 125 . Not sure why this is . It would make s big difference . All modern 125s are the same . Quite underpowered but good fun if you aren't in a hurry ! Ride safe mate and enjoy it ...

Handsome looking peniers friend. I also have one of these but an older model (Superlight 200cc 2014) I carry a backpack everywhere and it's kinda tiresome, I'll have to see if I can make myself a pair of saddlebags like yours, do you have the name per chance? By the way, mine came stock with a 15-41 drivetrain. It's awesome for hills, eats them up like nothing and I go up slopes a custom really should be able to, but... If you're just doing flat roads, you should change that to a 16-38. I'm hitting 60miles per hour at 6.5k RPM with that on the highway, I can probably go to 65ish if I push it to 7k but that's not great for the engine. Problem is it slugs with hills now, but again, if you're not gonna go up a hill ever, that's an option. Oh oh, and change the indicator lights on the display with LEDs, it comes with incandescent bulbs that are just not serviceable during the day, also, the headlight is incandescent and meh, I just couldn't see a thing at night with it, you can get some 7 inch LED headlights that look really handsome and are much brighter

@@lordmalvada8212 Hey! Thanks for the reply. I didn't change the oil on mine personally, the dealer did on the first service. But the manual does say what oil to use (Petronas Power Speed 4T oil). Also to prevent rusting, I use ACF 50. The Missenden Flyer does a great video on how to use it on your bike. I might do another video when I treat mine next. @@othomaso100 Honestly, I always wanted one. But to quote Mr Spock, "you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true." It's a good bike, but it's heavy and lumbering with poor acceleration (its a big bike for a 125cc so thats the trade off). Would I buy one again? Probably not. Only because with hindsight I'd like something more agile and quick off the mark. But its a good machine. Well built, fantastic looks, and economical as hell. 🙂

Got one of those 10days ago...and already regret it! CONS: 1) ALL switches (indicators/ horn/ kill-switch) - except lights are totally in the wrong position. It never took me more than seconds to get used to the controls of any bike i've ridden, I always found them instantly the moment I took off. On the superlight, you're unable to operate any switch correctly without actually looking what you're pressing. You think you're indicating to the right & you hit the kill-switch & engine goes off! you want to honk the horn cause a Truck is changing lanes onto you - and you end up indicating left!! To make the matter worse they are all the same shape & colour. 2) Has the Torque and acceleration of a fat old sick donkey. Imagine being on this macho bad-ass bike only to find out that all 125 motorscooters and E-bikes overtake you with ease no matter how aggressive you try to accelerate! Its tolerable from 0-40kmh, but it takes you another 30 seconds to get from 40 to 65Kmh, and from 70 - to its top speed you need a never ending straight road. Embarrassing! Slowest 125 ever! 3) Horrible useless mispositioned mirrors! no matter how far you bend, the mirrors will always display your upper body/ shoulder giving you barely 20% of traffic vision!! Its good for bodybuilders that ride shirtless and wanna see their flexed muscles! 4) mediocre displays : Neutral & indication display lights only visible at night time, Fuel gauge is on the fuel tank - you basically forget its there, right between your legs, why would you look there while riding? PROS: 1) Cheap & beautiful 2) good brakes & handling 3) feels sturdy Summary: Its a nice bike, relatively good quality but has an ultra weak-cheap 125cc engine and with its console switches/ display & mirrors were designed by some Chinese toy manufacture.
