You’d have to have one heck of a cable to do that fursuits are pretty heavy and I’d be afraid of loosing the head of other parts with the wind

Fursuits are heavy? O.o I don't know what you mean ^^ My fursuit weights about a few kilogram all together :) Also, the wind is not different to the wind while you stand up there. The maximum you could physically reach is about 160 km/h due to the body in air resistance ^^ And that's not too bad. Check out my skydive video ;)
