Love the idea of a secondary regulator, I’m always having to use my party tank to fast carb....cheers!

A Quick what? 06:38 please provide clarification. I'm going to be building my own Keezer/Kegerator and would like to know what that extra co2 hookup is for. TIA

Quick or Burst Carbing. Meaning its set at a higher pressure to carbonate the beer faster. Usually like 20-30 psi vs the 10-12 psi we typically serve and carbonate at. Just means the beer will soak in the CO2 faster at the higher pressure but you run the risk of over carbonation. Let us know if you have more questions :)

@@MoskiHomebrew do you have a part number for this?

Why did you go with outside CO2 tank? Was it 2 save room for the wiring of temp control and 2° regulator?
@MoskiHomebrew3 жыл бұрын
Co2 tank gauge won't read correctly if inside the fridge, saves room to fit another keg. All the regulator stuff is mounted high and out of the way 👍🍻

Did you guys end up throwing a gasket in the hole for the outside air and power to not let cold air to escape? I may have missed it
@MoskiHomebrew4 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I have left it as is. But if I get water accumulated on the inside I may take a bung stopper and cut it half way to slide the cord in and plug it up 👌

@@MoskiHomebrew sounds good thanks. Also, do you guys intend to set up multiple secondary regs on the inside to get multiple co2 pressures for various beers or would you say it's a bit overkill for homebrew setups?
@MoskiHomebrew4 жыл бұрын
Currently just have 1 secondary. I can see it would be beneficial, but not an area I'd like to throw extra money at this point. Only having 2-3 beers on tap makes it pretty easy (1 for higher carb and 1 for slightly lower).

Looks like you stained the pine but didn't put a clear coat on. Maybe I missed it. Will help the wood last a lot longer.

Not much info. Like what size shank and what did you use to drill holes (I assume a spade bit but what size)...more info the better.

Isn't it called a shank not a bulkhead? I have never heard them called bulkheads before...

Whoops! I did say bulkhead... Not sure what I was thinking! Good catch!! 😬
