This is the summary results video of a Keezer build series I did a few years ago. It has been in use since then and been an amazing addition to the downstairs entertainment area. I've been able to get 12 taps open at once with various beverages just can't seem to fill up all 16 yet. I am still up for that challenge though!
Some of the mods that I have done that I did not mention in my build video are some more insulation around the collar, adding a ratchet strap to the lid so that it seals properly, changing out the straight hose barb on the glass rinser to a 90° elbow for a more clean look, and adding an LED bi-color feature for the glass rinser.
Unfortunately I did not have water in the glass rinser to show. def check out the link below to see it in action!

Yeahhhh buddy! One day I would love to have a spaceship of a keezer like this. I love the upgrades, you can really tell you put a lot of thought into the build. How often do you end up going through CO2 tanks?

Current open taps about once a year. I have a 20lb co2 for force carbing brews. Beergas is $$$

That looks very good! Im Just starting a similar sized keezer build. No where near that fancy yet, so far just 3 taps and the usual stained collar. Looks really funny with 3 kegs in it. Lol

It takes time to buy all those kegs, and the hardware aint cheap either, and I went chrome instead of stainless.

This thing is huge, but still awesome🙂. One question for you, do you keep the fan running 24/7?

That i do yes at a very slow speed

Beautiful keezer. 16 taps is a little overkill for me lol. Love the led lights. Just curious, why are none of your kegs hooked up to the taps?
@Bassguitarist1985
@Bassguitarist1985 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the compliments! The simple answer for why none of the kegs are connected is because we haven't had too many people over because of COVID-19. Its also easier to keep the lines clean. When people are over all taps with a full keg are connected ha!

Wow really impressive! How did you run the lights to change when rinser is operating? Is the water just ran from pressurised kegs?
@Bassguitarist1985
@Bassguitarist1985 Жыл бұрын
Lights are switched by the magnetic switch which operates a SPDT relay. Water is run from a 12v diaphragm pump from a 7 gallon tank

Very nice!! I just got my first deep freeze from an auction last night. It's 5.3 cu ft so I think it will hold 3 kegs or 3+2 2.5 gallon. Which temperature controller do you use?

@@Bassguitarist1985 Ok, thanks for the tip. In your experience, have you noticed any issues with temp controllers and failing compressors? I've read how cycling the compressor too often could cause failure but I was thinking to run a freezer at a higher temp should mean it actually runs less often.
@Bassguitarist1985
@Bassguitarist1985 3 жыл бұрын
@@BlakesGarage1 very good question the failure comes from the controller demanding cooling before the pressure has a chance to equalize known as short cycling. Because the rotor is locked due to the pressure difference when the compressor tries to start up it energizes the start winding but it trips the thermal safety all the time eventually doing that multiple times heats up to compressor and the windings fail. The A421 has a time delay feature that makes the compressor wait a certain amount of minutes to prevent this from happening.

@@Bassguitarist1985 This is making me nervous about the Anvil temp control I ordered last night. I'm not sure if it has a time delay feature.

@@BlakesGarage1 I'm not familiar with that unit in my travels researching this type of project I was always told that Johnson controls was the best. You may want to look into one of those or even the ink bird controller many people use that.

What are the dampers (spelling?). I just built a Keezer and I have some condensation issues. Can you post a link on where to get those?

You mean the Damp Rid buckets? Any grocery or hardware store should have them.

Are you dispensing water at 14 psi or higher?
@Bassguitarist1985
@Bassguitarist1985 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, but only dispensing. When not in use i open the relief valve to degas and turn off the supply CO2 to the keg. This is so it does not carbonate. Ideally I would be better splitting the beergas line and putting a 2ndary regulator off the 30psi beergas going to the stout at a lower pressure to the water keg. That way there is far less CO2 to carbonate the water. It will still happen but far more slowly.
