Great advice and tips as always. I’ve just put Nukataps to replace my older style taps on my kegerator and absolutely love them , front sealing no dripping. Love the wheel idea hadn’t thought about it to be honest. Nice one cheers 🍻👍

What are you guys using to keep the taps closed when not using them. I.e. the black things on the tap ends?

Great video. Im looking to scale up from the 35l to the 65l brewzilla and also looking to upgrade my homemaker kegerator (4 tap), to an 8 tap set up. Im looking to get the same kegland kegerator. Any reason why you went for 6 taps instead of 8 taps? Is the unit more suitable to a maximum of 6 kegs instead of 8? Keep up the videos!!!

Yeah honestly it more came down to because I often brew on the 65L which means I’ll get 2 kegs out of it at a time, so I didn’t really see the point of having 2 of the same beer on seperate taps, so I’ll have the spare sitting in the fridge but just not connected to the tap

I have a keezer with a skirt, so space for 4 taps coming through the timber, nuka taps for the win, those things are amazing! I'm hanging out for the 4L PET kegs from kegland, I'll fit 3 or 4 on my shelf in the keezer and can daisy chain them so I can always have a 4L travel keg haha

@@flyingwombattv their 8L PET kegs look like a great idea but the 4 would fit in a standard fridge easy as. It will solve the only real negative about kegging and seems very reasonably priced

Would love to see beer basics. How you carbonate a beer, at what temp, what pressure? In room temp, cooled down etc. Cheers!

Best way to measure is to have your keg on a scale while you fill it up

Cheers mate, honestly it’s kind of how long is a piece of string. They could both cool beer just as fast, depending on what temp u set them, but I guess u could set a chest freezer to negative 10 Celsius or something for a quick snap cooling, so I suppose chest freezer gives you a little more flexibility with big temp changes
