Late here , I own both - with a Sub, necessary for the Metas, maybe not for larger Q350.... I'm 72 & my ears don't hear over 8000 hz so I'll only say vocals are a bit clearer with the Metas. double plus the price , that's for each person to say.

The Q350s sound like they have a much better image and bass roll off through my Klipsch RP-500Ms. It sounds like you're using an excellent microphone to record this session.

Both are lacking deep bass but q350 less than ls50. Q350 have better soundstage and ls50 is more detailed. I would take q350 for longer listening sessions.

I think the dry acoustic in your demos is a good thing. Whether one is trying to assess a speaker, amp or any source playing through it, hearing it mixed with any acoustic reflection isn't helpful, and no one elses will ever be the same anyway.

i hear little more low on the q350 i like that, LS50 is little more dry and laid back , i like the q350 better

ls50 is colored. it sounds more pleasant than the original track, can be good or bad thing.

Both have that same KEF speed and defenition. The Q350 is warmer and more full bodied, wich at least gives an impression of a bit less dynamic energy than the LS50 meta.

What gives, is this room an anechoic chamber ? It sounds basically completely dead, almost difficult to tell the difference in direct signal vs live recording, in this instance, the differences between all three clips seem extremely subtle.

thanks for your comment. This place is my garage studio. Condenser mic was placed two feet away from speaker. All walls are surrounded by something(equipments, furnitures, ...) from top to bottom. Do you have any tips how can I make better environments for sounding record?

I picked up a set of UB52s in 2021 when they were on sale for $450, and for $450 they are a good speaker. I upgraded to the LS50s over the holidays when they were on sale for $1300. The Elac is punchier than the KEFs, so if your taste runs toward dynamic high-energy music they're a bit better. I find the KEFs better where voices are concerned, especially for movies. Overall the KEFs sound more like music and the Elacs sound like good speakers. The one caveat for the Elacs is price. At $700 they are too close to better speakers that go on sale. I still see them occasionally down in the $450 range at Amazon.

If anybody believes that the difference between these two speakers is only this much, is sorely mistaken. The Q350 are GOOD but nowhere near in sound even to the old Ls50's (I've owned both for long enough to know). The Metas are again different (some may say, better than the old one). Do NOT believe youtube sound demos.

To me, the LS50s definitely are a lot more defined. The experience is closer to high end audiophile expectations while the q350 has more meat on the bone and conveys some excitement. Contrary to others, I believe in the long run I'd get fatigued with the q350 - I used to own the q300 - because the lack of precision, not muddy but not sufficiently articulated, just wouldn't cut it for me. My reference point is my main speakers, Dynaudio contour series.
