How does this IEM do with male vocals if I prefer something that sounds natural but with some forwardness/clarity? For reference, I currently use IEMs like the Nuo and the Delci. Natural and accurate vocals are most important to me, with a bit of forwardness and clarity. The Delci presented them well, but the bass colored the vocals just a bit too much for my liking.

It's a tough choice. They are different. The Truthear Red and Blue are excellent IEMs at this price point. The Red has a more neutral sound, the Blue has a Harman tuning, while the Klean has a warmer tone with more bass and better imaging. The Klean's treble also sounds more natural. All three IEMs have a similar level of detail, and they're excellent overall.

Yes, these have significantly wider sound stage and travel response than the EW300. There are some minor details the EW300 can extract, but without the sound stage, they are irrelevant. They are lost with other details. Personally, I find the EW300 over hyped. They sound great if you have never heard anything else.

I have been using the truthear x crinacle reds for a week now and i don’t really find it enjoying and engaging, i find the sound really…….. not fun😭😭 I also have samsung galaxy buds 2 and really like them, the bass the clarity at high ends the separation b/w left and right channel and i was also using the tangzu wan’ers and liked them too because of the fun sound and punchy bass. Are the klean according to my taste? I want an IEM like these two under $80, if there are not any good IEM’s in that range i could go upto $120. I use them with the ifi go link dac and thinking of upgrading it. PLEASE HELP I’M REALLY CONFUSED HERE😭

In your opinion would I be missing out in much going for this vs Aful Explorer? Atm have OG 7hz Zeroes so I'm guessing an upgrade either way. Previously had Chus and Zero Blue and much prefer tuning of 7hz and Chus over Zero Blue, if you need to understand my preference.

In my opinion, the Explorer is the better choice. The bass quality is more refined, with improved detail and separation. It offers a relaxed, enjoyable listening experience with solid detail that gets even more engaging at higher volumes. If I had to pick one, I’d go with the Explorer. The Klean, though, is impressive for its price.

No comparison. The S08 is on a mother price level, with a different darker tuning, and with a Planar driver. This is more inline with the EW200.

The Red has a more neutral sound, and the impedance adapter adds a bass boost. The Kefine Klean offers better imaging, a warmer tone, and even more bass than the Red, even with the adapter. It really comes down to which sound signature you prefer. Both are excellent IEMs.

As you move up in price, you typically start seeing IEMs with hybrid drivers and typically but not necessarily have better bass, more detail and separation, and better soundstage. At even higher price points, you might find EST drivers, which have a unique treble quality. “Better” really depends on the sound signature and price range. For example, I find the PULA PA02 and the Explorer to be better than the Klean. The Explorer has better bass quality and both have more detail than the Klean. Taking it a step further, the P7 has even more detail, improved separation, and enhanced treble. However, the Klean is appealing for its sound quality at this price and actually outperforms some higher-priced IEMs.

The Klean, like most IEMs, is sensitive and easy to drive, so any improvement in soundstage or imaging with a balanced connection is likely minor, if noticeable at all. The 3.5mm jack works great for most IEMs, and I don’t hear much difference aside from a bit more power and, occasionally, a subtle improvement in imaging and soundstage. It also depends on your amp, if your amp performs better with a balanced output, you might notice a difference. Personally, I think it sounds excellent on the 3.5mm, so I wouldn’t worry about it unless you’re keen to try a balanced cable. If so, go for it!

With the black nozzle, the mid-range and vocal tonality become similar to the Titan S2, but the Kefine Klean still has more sub-bass and, in my opinion, better bass quality. The vocals on the Klean sound more natural to me. In terms of detail, they're close, but the Klean has better imaging and timbre.

The Kefine Delci AE is essentially the same as the Delci, but with a 4.4mm balanced cable and a Gold Nozzle that boosts the upper mid-range. The Kefine Klean also has a black filter nozzle that enhances the upper mid-range, similar to the Gold Nozzle on the Delci AE. However, the Klean has better imaging, smoother treble, and more natural vocals and timbre. The level of detail is very similar between the Klean and Delci AE, but the Klean doesn't come with a balanced cable.

With bass adaptor truth ear red,s naturalness will go, you will not find wow factor with adaptor... Go with klean

The Truthear Red is another excellent IEM at this price point. The Red has a more neutral sound, while the Klean has a warmer tone with more bass and better imaging. The Klean's treble also sounds more natural. Both IEMs have a similar level of detail, and they're both excellent overall.

Could I get some help picking a portable dac from anyone pls? I am looking for a portable dac that can push at least 300mw @32ohms, whether that be out of the 3.5 or the 4.4 balanced. I am trying to find as portable of a dac as possible to run the binary acoustic DynaQuattro at it's best. So, based on what I have read and seen in reviews, 350mw would give good headroom, but 300mw is just right and anything less than that you will start to get muddy or veiled sound.

ONIX Alpha XI1, FiiO KA15, KA17, Celeste CD-20, or the upcoming FiiO BTR17. These all have over 300mW at 32 ohms, so there's plenty of headroom.

The Xuan Nv doesn't have much sub-bass for me. It has great treble and "shimmer" on high end though

@@albertko1, that was DEFINITELY my own experience also, but more to do with the fact that I was unable to achieve a proper fit, due to the angle of the nozzles.

The nozzle is similar to that of the Delci and Delci AE, and I’ve never had any issues with either of them, nor have I heard of anyone else experiencing problems with the Delci. As far as I know, that issue was specific to the Chu 2. In the worst-case scenario, you can always clean it with some isopropyl alcohol wipes.
