Kehlani gives me hope ♥️. Im Going through something similar. I’m working at a retail store. I hate working at my job. I been working retail since I was 18 years old and I’m about to be 21 in a few months. I’m struggling financially. I had a rough childhood growing up too. I am a beginner freelance makeup artist. I do mostly unpaid gigs so I can build up my portfolio. I collaborate with photographers for photoshoot. I provide the makeup for them and they provide the picture for my portfolio. I do get paid once In a while for other events like weddings, prom, parties etc.. I love doing makeup on people and making them beautiful on their special day. It makes my heart melt when they smile because I made them feel more confident. I hope to one day be Kehlani’s Makeup Artist.
