Keiko singing these covers is a solid way to build up content and also showcase her voice in its best state. These kinds of songs really fit her range and warm legato style of singing.

Just absolutely stunning. There is no other voice like Keiko's!
I listened the original song. That song is high for her vocal range. That’s why she need to lower the key. The pitch/high note which she done well. ^^

Oh I see. So the song was brought to a lower key. Always good to see smart singing choices.

@@TheSeeking2know I listened kinda a lot this her cover. I wonder on the last chorus which she consecutive her long high note. Then last belting + dynamic at the ending of the song, do you think she was high larynx, because I feel she was uncomfortable with high pitch 🤔?

@@jungjena I think you mean the sequence from 3:39 right? Her voice got lighter as she ascended in pitch on the higher notes, which I think is smart. She went more for a mixed belt which is appropriate. I can't say if she went with a really high larynx but I'm sure it lifted a bit. Because of her lighter production I don't think she needed to do anything extreme. I might be wrong but I feel these videos are of her just miming to the original live recordings. Though she shows expression I don't think she's actually singing fully in the video we're viewing. Having watched her live from Fiction Junction and in her own solo lives I think that I have an idea of how she moves her head and body when she's singing, and it doesn't feel like that completely. It's fully acceptable to me for her team to achieve the visual quality and poise in the video we're watching.

@@TheSeeking2know Thank you for making me clear at 3:39. I'm so grateful. I'm a bit embarrassed when music knowledge is still not strong :( and said something wrong. Through these covers, she challenged her voice with different songs and she did it so well. I so admire it ^^ What do you mean about "miming to the original live recording"? Do you mean she does the same vocal techniques as the original singers? (I'm sorry that I don't get it) I don't know much about standing position when singing. I sometimes see her singing with a tendency to lean forward. I always pay attention to her mouth shape especially when she sang in English lol. Very interesting to me. I appreciate the efforts of her and her team. They gradually get better at everything little by little. Although it's pretty hopeless, I hope she would do her solo part in the song "Door" where she used melisma in the next of her covers XD.

@@jungjena What I meant by miming is that I think we are not watching her sing the actual performance. I wonder if the vocal recording wasn't done earlier and then she's just doing a video to match for the channel. The only other time I've seen her sing in studio over time is in the "Yuki Kajiura Studio Live Reprise vol. 01" where they were in the studio. I compare her head and body movements in that concert to these covers on her channel, especially this song when she went high at 3:39 as we were discussing... Even if the audio was pre-recorded in another take, she still sang it so I have no problems with that choice.
