I love this interpretation!!! Very fluid bow but also very heavy and intense, which creates such a unique sound and is so hard to do without sounding scratchy! Most violinists go for the choppy bow especially on the double stops because it's safer if out of tune - however, your method is much riskier but sounds so much cooler and stylish when executed perfectly! The tenths at the end were so exposed and vulnerable and few would dare to play that way but you absolutely nailed it! Probably my favorite performance of this piece now :D

I feel like this is close to how the piece was meant to be played. It really does need these strong and sudden strokes to bring out the despair and fear of the unknown oozing from the piece That's how I see it at least

Hi keila, any chance you could just give me your vibrato 😂😂. On a real though I absolutely love this interpretation. The opening is perhaps slightly slower than normal but it allows us to much better appreciate all the beautiful colours that you bring out. I'm a convert!
