The issuance of treasury bonds effectively amount to a form of corporate welfare for the purchasers, who tend to be financial institutions, wealthy individuals and foreign governments. Why should they enjoy a risk free government annuity? It's time to look after our own, invest in real growth and surport our central bank bringing our assets and needed infrastructure back in house, that also lowers the level of taxation needed. 🙂

Asylum seekers wanting to come to the UK from many countries have had all safe routes closed which is why this situation has arisen. UK is signed up to international treaties which require that we accept legitimate asylum seekers. Processing applications to come to UK prior to travel could reduce numbers and make the trade less lucrative for criminals
