It's sad, and cruel if indeed they are not content with having certain pensioners eke out their income to pay for heating, and to seek out even cheaper, less nutritious food so they can eat. It now seems almost unbelievable that they're contemplating stopping free travel for them as well. It gives an impression they will be happier to see them off the streets, stuck inside, and staring at their four walls. Bang goes any pensioner's idea of riding buses in winter, most of the day, simply to keep warm and save on heating.

Englishman now for five years living in Charlotte NC. Left the UK came to America legally. Unlike the woke celebrities here that say I’m going to leave but of course won’t I had the courage at 63 to leave because I hated what my homeland was becoming. Americans actually care about simple things and that under Trumps first Presidency things were economically good.
