I am truly amazed how smart the girl is (and the director as well)! Keira recognizes that Anna is a complex character, needy and manipulative, and actually CAN be judged and despised. Wow! Maybe after all we finally get a movie with real Karenina, an adamant and very dangerous woman, who is at times just evil, crushing everyone around her. Not a fake-sweet-poor-victim-of-conservative-society Anna, who we are supposed to pity in all previous interpretations. THANK YOU Keira, I admire you deeply.
