I like listening to your stories. It’s very relaxing. Spring is my favourite season for planting & planning. We better get busy soon, because the daffodils, are already breaking through the earth. In the garden, outside my bedroom window.

very interesting perspective for sure. I dont quite agree that seasons necessarily affect us as as they do with nature, neither do things like astrology, but i think its so true about us planting seeds in ourselves and watering and nurturing those seeds.
@barrelburger18 күн бұрын
A metaphor is a metaphor, it's a great way of explaining things that are difficult to explain. We are not literally seeds or trees. We aren't meant to be anything. What gives you the idea that anything is "meant" to be? Things happen as they happen, and for some there seems to be a need to create an explanation when the explanation takes too much effort or is not readily obvious. We are not seeds, we don't plant seeds, and we are not trees and we don't need to water ourselves. Being patient, and being loving and nurturing are all good ideas, so thanks for the reminder. I actually enjoy all of your videos whether I agree or not. Much love....

Seeds will always grow when we plant them and provide all the necessary factors around it in fact it is the only way to get what you want. My favorite season has always been fall in new York city there is just something in the air it's the time when the seeds have grown and now are yielding their fruit. It is when you can see all of the work you put into the season pay off. So to speak. Something I always look forward to. And of course more of your videos. Thanks for sharing. May my seeds grow and be taken care of with love so that when it is time for me to harvest them after they have grown May I be proud in a healthy way of what I have sown and reap it in plenty. And may others also receive from my seeds so that future generations may also continue to prosper and flourish. Thank you so much. Surely I must have planted some good seeds. I rejoice. Now the key is to not be happy with them and to plant more in the spring. Of my own❤😊🎉

Keira, hello! Keira, you're just smart to plant flowers in the spring and pick them in the fall. Well, to be honest, I don't have a favorite time of the year, although I love it when it's warm outside and everything is in bloom, but my growth occurs in spring and summer, because it's in summer that I exercise more, and in summer I help my parents plant crops, because it's in spring that I rejoice and turn into a person. 🤗😎🙏🎅

this is a great topic, but like i said yesterday, life is full of twists and turns that makes it hard for life to go as planned... For example i started my new job as a theater usher last year, and like any wise gardener i planted deep seeds for expected long term growth. I watered my plants (i was bubbly with my co-workers), I made sure to lay down fresh mulch (i showed up to work with a freshly laundered usher suit), and i even made sure to pull out as many troublesome weeds as possible (i.e. i was very outspoken about my desire to build camaraderie with my co-workers by taking part in the broadway softball league, as the production i worked for (Wicked) chased sweet victory of the coveted broadway league softball trophy.... Now it's 2025 and all my big plans for a picture perfect garden have gone up in flames. I'm considered the workplace "weirdo" because i got written up for asking out a female co-worker who flipped her lid and reported me for harassment. 🙄 I routinely get yelled at by theater guests for using a rude tone when directing them to their seats (even though my heart is always in the right place) and even worse, my supervisor has told me he lost confidence in me and has suggested a change of scenery for me might be in the best interest of everyone (especially all the women i work with). I really don't know what i'm doing wrong as a gardener. Most men have already grown a magnificent garden by age 40, with a beautiful wife and children, topped off by a forever home where they plan on making lasting memories. Compare that to my life in my parents basement at age 37. Still a lonely bachelor, spending all my free time subscribing to as many beautiful content creators on YT as possible (most of whom don't even know i exist). And all the while suffering from crippling depression (which we all know leads to weight gain). How many more tornadoes are going to blow through my garden before i just give up hope and realize i have better chance of flying a rocket ship to moon before making lasting connections with a girlfriend.

One problem I have is to many projects where if you don't close the loop then you don't get that 'harvest' and also bad is your momentum is slowed because you have gone onto another project - I think that is why some people are successful is they focus on a mission and close that loop and now get returns - no lots of undone stuff

Daaamn that nature metaphor was hitting today. Very well said. I don’t really have a favorite season. There are aspects of all of them that I like and dislike. I love the fall for cool weather, no bugs, no poison ivy, and the best times for hunting and fishing. But the transition away from a thriving summer is difficult for me. Winter is for hard work and rebuilding. Bulk season in the gym, embracing the harshness of the cold, and all of this potential energy being stored in preparation to emerge stronger. Spring is a liminal period where all that potential begins to take form into what it will become, but isn’t quite fully fledged. It’s like a young fawn on wobbly legs trying to figure out what this new form will be. Also the trails are too melty for skiing, too muddy for hiking, the rivers are too high for fishing, the lake ice is too thin to walk on, and no hunting seasons. It’s a patience game. Summer is when I thrive. All gas no brakes. Adventures, late nights, reaching new heights, full blown growth and evolution. And then it slowly fades into the fall again. That’s how I experience a year (in Minnesota.) I also experience the seasons on a micro level. Like seasons within seasons. Season inception haha. Really cool video. As a nature lover and tree lover it really spoke to me 🌲

"We are like Trees". 100 per cent correct, specifically, The Holy Tree of Life. You are so near to Enlightenment, you are already seeing and touching it... research The Holy Qabalah, The Holy Tree of Life, and Non-Duality. Again I say, that the Truth will set you free; and I leave you with this Truth to meditate upon: You are NOT the body...
