I’m pro conditioner as well. Love it. People always ask what oil is in my hair and are shocked when they find out there is none. Just a good conditioner once per week when I wash. I recommend a good shower head that can be concentrated to really help push out any product and like you said clarifying shampoos help 1. The conditioner do its job because the hair is clean and 2. It will wash out any previous products. Great vid Keisha. You’re and inspiration

I condition my locs always. In the beginning of my journey, I did not. To avoid product buildup, I dilute my shampoo/conditioner. Thank you for the informative videos

There are licensed loctions that are divided on this topic as well and the bottom line is do what's best for *your* locs! I'm also pro conditioner. I also understand that not everyone need it. Great topic!

TEE18612 Your comment is so sensible, in that everyone's loc journey is their own, which kind of cancels out many KZbinrs. It's not one size fits all and what may be good for one person, is an achilles heel for another. I do not have my hair retwisted often, but I use Taliyah Waajid's gel, which seems to suit my hair just fine. I also only wash my hair every 6 weeks or so. Again, my hair seems fine. I hear a collective, "Ewwww!" But my hair is healthy and I don't have much need to clarify. Each to their own is all I'm saying. Stay blessed

With my first set I tried not conditioning often because of “build up” I’ve had this set 5 years and condition just about every time. As long as you know how to wash your hair you’re good
