My locs are the same length and I like getting 2-strand twisted to better maintain and control the flying of loose locs. What I haven’t done was try washing my hair with these twists and I should because my scalp get inflamed with flakes around the front and back of my ears…

Colds are caused by viruses, so you can't catch a cold from going outside with wet hair
@KeishaCharmaine3 жыл бұрын
@@HomemakingwithAlly that’s what I was told so where does that myth come from? Are you more susceptible to viruses when your head is wet? 🤔🤓
@HomemakingwithAlly3 жыл бұрын
@@KeishaCharmaine idk I think it’s just an old myth😂My grandmother used to say that too but if you Google it, it’s not factual. Germs live on surfaces longer in colder weather so colds spread more in the winter.

Great video! I just received your loc gel in the mail and I cannot wait to use it. My Loctition just helped me join my small locs to make them bigger, so I have some time before I need to retwist again to use your loc gel. I just wanted to ask you if you remember where you purchased your hooded dryer cap? All my locs don’t fit under my dryer and I know by your video, with the hooded cap they will.

I’m a microbiologist and I’ve always wondered/been paranoid that mildew was a possibility. Thanks for the nightmares! Side note: I got bored, bleached my hair to the point of damage, and on a whim lox’s my hair again in hopes of saving what is now my super thin Gollum hair. I’ve never loc’d my own hair and I’ve always paid someone else to do it so now I’m terrified that it won’t be even or they won’t grow right (after I cut the damaged bit, of course).
@KeishaCharmaine3 жыл бұрын
Yes of course mildew is a possibility. It absolutely happens with locs when they aren’t dried properly but it’s not the end of the world if it happens. There are several ways to get rid of it. I can make a video on that if you’d like. 💕
