Hearing Keith's acoustic demos are something else. That voice, that guitar -- a true bluesman.

His wild horses is amazing, this only the 2nd ive heard like that. Im excited to hear more. You definitely hear where Mick got it from!

His acoustic cover of Please Please Me, by the Beatles, is also a must hear for this kind of historic recording.

It's not a picture. It is actually a painting by Ronnie Wood. Look really close and you can see it. Wood does many styles in his art work but his portraits are magnificent. He has some great portraits of Richards and Jagger and outstanding portraits of Charlie Watts.

Recorded in a Mexican hotel room at the Finisterra Hotel, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in December 1983
@seanhennessey98696 жыл бұрын
was it really recorded there?....wow...back then I used to go to Cabo San Lucas a lot and I just missed him by a month and the locals had tons of stories about him, mostly all reports of him being a good dude...had a beard, played futbol with the locals in the town square, entered a palapa club on christmas eve and borrowed an acoustic from the guy playing and then played Salt of the Earth....discovered passed out in the back of a pick up, woke up, ordered some eggs, left like 100 dollars to pay for the eggs...etc

Philou is incredibly stupid. Keith wrote the song. He had to let Mick and the rest of the band know how it goes - so he sang it to them. Mick is not a Mind Reader. Keith had to demo the song some how. I repeat - Philou is incredibly stupid.
