@@hooskerdu1 I didn’t say songs needed to to be complicated to be pop hits. You people are praising his ability to strum 2 chord songs ..WTF ..a 10 year old beginner student can do that. And he probably hasn't had to tune his own guitar in 50 years

Yes Keith and Ronnie play 3 chords each, and about 20 notes apiece every concert these days

I absolutely love the Rolling Stones .My#1 band of all time. I saw you guys in concert years ago and Mr Richard's you did a solo at that concert. It was just beautiful. All of you deserve so much respect. You all ROCK. I am so glad you are still creating that music magic. ALWAYS # 1 IN MY BOOK. KEEP ROCKING.

What does it take to play rock-n-roll? “It takes five strings, three chords, two fingers, and an asshole”. Keith Richards
@davidoneal20222 жыл бұрын
That is f****** hilarious
@taylorj61772 жыл бұрын
I don’t understand the asshole part-is he implying that is the actual source of the tune? 😂
@CompleteProducer842 жыл бұрын
@@taylorj6177 He just means Rock and Rollers are typically assholes 👍 (wasn’t sure if you were truly asking, sorry if not)
@CompleteProducer842 жыл бұрын
Are the 2 fingers supposed to be double middle fingers? Or does he literally just mean he frets most of the music with 2?
@glennhecker4422 Жыл бұрын
Always have loved that quote - so casual and offhand, and so "Keef!" (Note: you're close; he actually said "two hands" rather than "two fingers.")

Love you, Keith! I'm still getting over having tickets to see you guys, and that one show got cancelled due to Mic having a throat infection. When u were last in Australia .I don't think I ever will😢
@LewisBuckles2 жыл бұрын
He plays with 5 strings because he plays in an open tuning. The low E string would just get in the way.
@postpunk69472 жыл бұрын
Yeah, he plays like that about 50 years.
@tylerthompson18422 жыл бұрын
Did you just read about that or something cause it’s kind of a well known thing
@postpunk69472 жыл бұрын
@@tylerthompson1842 yes, honestly, you don't need to be a Stones fan to know this. It's common knowledge.
