A mate of mine was in a guitar store in Brisbane noodling around with a guitar pedal when Keith walked in needing something quick from the owner. My mate knew who he was but kept on playing. Keith left the store and when my mate left, the owner said take the guitar pedal with you, Keith just bought it for you. ✌🏻

I am Australian & live by the water about a 30 minute drive from Brisbane City. Sadly they demolished Festival Hall years ago but we used to see alot of bands & singers there. My first was Culture Club when I was 12 but as a teenager & young adult more like RHCP's etc.

Loved Johnny Cash. My dad listened to all kinds of music. While like most kids I leaned towards rock & pop... it meant I also learned to enjoy (and not judge) many types of music. My first concert at 5 was a small local event with Buck Owens, Roy Clark, and Jimmy Crash Craddock. I was 1st row and there were maybe 300 people in a small auditorium. At the time these were huge names in country music. The only thing better was being picked (he doesn't sell front row tickets) to move up front for a Garth Brooks concert in Birmingham a few years ago. BEST concert experience in my life. If you get lucky enough to get Garth tickets... go!
