Keith Whitley - I'm No Stranger To The Rain (Live in Holland, Netherlands 1989)

Rare performance of Keith Whitley performing the best country music song ever written. I have read Keith was in a car accident in early 1989*, which made him appear depressed in his final months. His sad undertone is more pronounced here vs. his prior years. As with the recording of I Flew Over Our House Last Night at the same concert, this was not recorded from the soundboard, so the quality is very poor.
I know many of my viewers and subscribers asked if I'd upload more KW songs/concerts, and after wanting to upload other artists, I decided this would be a great time ringing in the new year of 2023. This is the only other recording from Holland that I have. More concerts to follow, so stay tuned.
*Edit 20 May 2023. After reading some comments and re-watching The Life And Times of KW, I changed "motorcycle" from above to "car".

I was present at this performance in the Netherlands, it was in Steenwijk. I was 14 years old and I was devastated when I heard that he had passed away.

My cousin is playing the kick off on Acoustic Guitar to this song here. He played in Keith's last band. I've personally played the guitar he used on the road w Keith- weird knowing this and sitting here listening to it but very cool to. Thanks!
