Saturday was a quiet day in the dairy barn, which gave us an opportunity to interview the young lads of Never Rest Dairy, located west of Watertown, WI.

Mom is making very enjoyable content, I must say, and Dad's gives us a good chuckle. I Hope to see more of you, hank, all the best to you Sir. I really enjoyed the interview with the guys from Never Rest Dairy, I'll check out their channel. I hope Keith attends their Farm Camp, that would be really fun to watch 😅. 👍

Another awesome installment I mean Video Ya them organizers should get a few more red ones next year, nice to see that J. I Case tractor in the red white and blue I wonder if that was made in the year when the US celebrated a even number jubilee.

Again congratulations to all of those who did so well. Great young people. Thank you for sharing as well. One thing is for sure, life is filled with surprises. I don’t envy your experience with horses; it must have been terrible. In 2015 my niece’s husband was broadsided the night before my dad’s memorial service (5 kids/youngest was 3yrs old). He had mostly head injuries & was in a coma & the hospital for months. You wouldn’t know it to look at him because he has no physical signs (can run miles), but his brain tires easily & he can’t concentrate long. He was a school teacher. He hasn’t been able to hold a job since then, even mowing lawns would end up with him mowing in circles. They finally got disability in 2023. Their faith is strong but of course it hasn't been easy. That, plus a lot of prayer & help has enabled them to make it through. Their oldest graduated this year. To be honest, I don’t know how I would have handled your situation or my nieces. But I do understand as much as I can, the heartache and worry. Take care of yourselves.

Awful story, but we appreciate hearing it. So sorry for the lasting effects on him. Keith has some lasting effects as well, although not to the same severity as your niece's husband. He was in the hospital just two nights, but during that time they did four different scans because he had suffered a fracture to his temporal bone on the left side of his head. He was out of commission at home for several weeks, but fortunately we had family that covered the hay making and chores for him. Definitely the darkest time of our lives together. That first night in the hospital, when he was in the neuroscience ICU, I was limited in how much time I could be in the room with him. Spent most of the night in a waiting room by myself. Not sure I have ever been so lonely as I was that night. The second night he was in a private room, so I could be in there with him. Fortunately no coma! That must have been terrible for your niece and her children. I'm sure she felt very alone.

@@KeithFinkFamilyFarm Thanks, I'm glad it wasn't too long a time for you, but any time with something like that is too much. Thankfully my niece had her 3 older sisters and her mom and dad to stay with the kids and with her. We all live relatively close by, thankfully. And her brother was down for the other, so he was able to be around too. Hope Stormy is doing well yet. Take care.
