hugs and kisses all around. we saved everything from great grand parents house and farm building, everything is stored in 40ft shipping containers . while picking apples i over heard some of the ladies [ aunty's from ukraine] talking how much they miss the wringer washing machines. well we have 2 in storage so brother and i went searching for them. found 2 complete units and 1 just the wringer over a wooden tub or maybe old whiskey barrel. hauled them back to the hog barns and asked the ladies what they thought of our new flower planters. never seen such happy people for something most would consider as junk in today's world.

So cool! Glad you were able to make them so happy. We love ours. Mainly use it for the milking towels.

Winter head quarters were in florida a long time ago. If I remember right some of Disney's old movies like the little engine that could and Dumbo is based off of ringing and barnum.

We are fine, sorry for the delays in responding! We are glad you care :) With Lydia getting married in December, we are losing our most faithful milking help. We will see if one of the remaining boys will step up to help. Keith was able to take a couple trips to NH with me over the last couple years to visit my family out there, but yes, he could use another vacation.

Wooooo...... getting married so young, that does not happen much these days, is it cause of your church beliefs. is the boy from the farm and does he go to the same church as you do? Well Ukrainian ladies are quite resourceful . most all the fruit is gone, lets see, canned whole crab apples, apple sause. not baked but frozen apple pie's all the prune plums were canned into jars. bro and me thought years back on what are we gonna do with all these jars boxes and boxes hundreds of jars all stored along with so much other stuff. but every day the ladies were going to that shipping container and taking out a few boxes of jars. no more bacon as we in north america know it as, when we had asian families working for us they were not interested in the pigs belly. the bacon area. but ukrainian people eat that fatty daily. i nor bro don't like it. the ladies cut up the skinned bellies into small squares. then boil cook them, then store those fatty squares in jars in the fridge and freezer. every person of the family eats 1 piece every day plus they add them into soups. the young children will eat it no problem. but i can't seem to be able to swallow that chunk of pig fat. will u be grandparents by next Chinese new years or sooner.
