I've been associated with the Kek since the early 90's doing trail clearing, but never had the chance to hike the whole length. You had some fantastic fall weather to hike the trail, beautiful views. Too bad the days aren't longer in the fall to enjoy the beautiful weather that we have had here in MN. Really enjoy your videos and hiking.

We are a few years away from moving to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area but we cannot wait for our move. We plan to make it our forever home and to retire there. I'm 41 years old and this is something that I desperately crave in my life. I truly can't wait to enjoy the beauty Minnesota offers. Cheers!

Wow!!!!! That sunset over Disappointment Lake was certainly not disappointing for sure. Absolutely surreal. Another awesome production. Thanks 👍👍

That was an impressive sunset with the reflection on the lake. Very cool. I also like the key exchange system. It's a good way to avoid the out and back. Cheers!

I just got back from 3 days in the Porcupine Mountains. Could not follow the trail because of a 6 inch carpet of leaves on the ground. Have you had that problem this time of the year?
@MidwestBackpacker2 ай бұрын
@@rayschrab6509 I remember having the same problem in the porkies. Looking for blazes.

Great effort and beautiful views! Did I hear you refer to the Far Out App for navigation? If not, what were you using?
@MidwestBackpacker2 ай бұрын
