I wonder if they thought about a locking cotter pin instead of the screw? So you can field strip wt no tools.

What happens when you have to field strip it and take it apart? 🤨

Do you really want to put Locktite on the screw that holds one of the pins you need to regularly remove for cleaning/field stripping the gun?
@mistersparkle5223 жыл бұрын
Would putting loctite be smart? Eventually ull need to take it out if u ever plan to clean the shotgun...right?

Thanks for the instructions video.please let us know when you make the kS7 vertical foregrip.
@michaelferreira59454 жыл бұрын
With that set up, you can't field strip without tools. I have the brand new KSG and the shells get stuck often enough to frustrate me. It's not from short stroking. As it is now, I quickly slide out those two pins and dismantle it fast and easy enough to get back to firing position. I love this sling, just wish it could be done without the screw

I’m new to the KS7, just bought one. Would the replacement pin interfere with field striping/ cleaning the shotgun? (Cuz of the lock tight)

Very curious how the functionality of the extended tube selector is impacted by the shell deflector. Can you provide some insight? I just ordered a selector switch but I’m concerned if I get a deflector it’ll just bring me back to where I started with switch accessibility

An adhesive rubber grip for the KS7 would be really helpful.

Great product! Love your stuff!
@kevinboothe99913 жыл бұрын
Just make sure you have an allen wrench and a crescent wrench with you in case you gotta field strip it! Don't get me wrong, I love your products, I put your trigger in mine and love it. I set mine up with a swivel type that I can attach my sling to either side without having to change anything around and all I need to field strip it is 2 allen wrenches that I have secured inside the handle! Which reminds me, I need to order one of your handle plugs so I don't have to worry about the tape failing. Keep up the great work, just wish I would have picked up one of your Sherman tank muzzle breaks before you discontinued them!

For the KSG, wouldn't this mean that I would need to disassemble that QD part every time I want to field strip? Not necessarily a deal breaker, but a consideration.
@MCARBO4 жыл бұрын
NSFW Harold Yes Sir, it’s a consideration but only takes a minute or two to get it done. Nice to have a QD sling option!
@johngrunwell24124 жыл бұрын
Not convinced as the LOCK-TITE (Blue) can be difficult to break free. I've had to use a heat gun on other parts to break the blue bond. Have other lock washers (posibly a star type) been tried against a flat washer? Better yet, a takedown bolt with a flip-blade at the tip to prevent inadvertent withdrawal. No tools required and would prevent it being pulled out by sling. These takedown bolts need to be able to be pulled for takedown without tools!

DAN LAROCA Yeah Brother! We just ordered a PC Charger today! Will make that video right away once we get it. We all want to know what’s compatible with it. Have you seen them in stock anywhere? We overpaid for one on Gun Broker. Nothing else available....

If you’re worried about loosing that Allen key get a plug for your grip and put the key in a baggie up in that grip. It’s too bad keltec didn’t incorporate something like this from the beginning.
@parienteloco2008 Жыл бұрын
After installing the sling mount, be sure to purchase enough loctite thread lock and masking tape. You will need it every time you do the field strip for cleaning and maintenance. 😑
@stoneyswolf Жыл бұрын
I don't own either of those guns but I can easily see doing this is a bad idea.

IMO - Single point slings hold the gun far too low for a bullpup - two-point adjustable makes more sense and there are already existing slots for it.
@leedavis75084 жыл бұрын
I'd lose the ability to field strip it without tools......
@sogman7265Ай бұрын
Hey Brothers, what's the big idea? I got my single point sling (for a different weapon) today and it is a fine product and seems well built. My problem was...A big black envelope with "Military Carbine Brotherhood" scrawled all it across it real big! I was watching on camera while the mailman was out there and he was turning it over and over in his hands looking very close at it. Too close. I'm guessing it was because of the envelope that said "Good Gun Stuff In Here!!! might as well say, dangit you guys. That's almost enough to make a guy want to order from someone else. Just for that reason. So...Good sling but the guy who designed your shipping stuff with "Steal me First" all over it should be fired man. That is Stupid!
