the Armalaser green dot laser is specific;;u designed for the Kel-Tec PMR3O. The green dot is super bright. The video makes it look rather dull, but it is really bright and look great at 90 Feet in the daytime

I have the computer 33. Have to research if they make a laser for that model. Good to see you posting again.

It’s taking a while to get new subjects to put up on KZbin. However, sometimes I find a little interesting nugget.

I just thought it was a cool item. So I thought I’d make a video of it.

I'm a long time USPSA and SCSA competitive shooter, Chief Range Officer and handgun trainer. I am not a proponent of lasers for self defense. Reason? Nothing like letting the perp know where your at! Many folks like these things because they look cool or watch too many Hollywood movies. With that said they do have a place. They can be a good training tool and in certain competition scenarios provide an advantage. For self defense I suggest a red or green dot over a laser.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like you are very very experienced in this field. I see what you’re saying that the laser could expose your position. As in your opinion, there are others on the opposite side of the fence. To each his own, I guess? However, your opinion, as a trainer, is valuable information. Thanks again for your reply.

Unless there is smoke or fog, the laser is only visible on the target. Indoor ranges with lasers being used look like a Star Wars scene, but unless there is something in the air to reflect the laser, it is only visible on the target or something else in the way. Firing ranges have a LOT of smoke! You are absolutely correct about them being a GREAT training aid.

@@Mrelindio42 Think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. My point is a laser projects a beam and can be seen by another, especially if pointed at them or another object. Than you can determine where it's coming from. Not a good thing.

@@Greenjeans2020 Kind of like a light? Do you think lights help or make you a target? Lasers, unless they are in a hazy environment, do not project a beam that can be seen from the side like the Star Wars movies. Try a green one outside in a low light situation without the almost invisible smoke of a firing range. I have been shooting pistols/revolvers for about sixty years and now retired from DEA. I was a firearms instructor for two federal agencies and attended three firearms instructor schools for different agencies at Quantico. My personal belief on flashlights is that they are better used in your weak hand and out to the side of your body, but it appears one-handed shooting is not favored today.

@@Mrelindio42 They most certainly do project a a beam. Just like any other light. Also like you mentioned if it was foggy or smoky. You won't get that with a red dot. A flashlight is also a good tool but should only be used if necessary for the same reasons I indicated about lasers. Here again, I always recommend a "Red Dot" over a laser.as it makes sighting easier, like a laser, but without the traceability and having to fiddle with turn them on. They also have poor battery life. Many newer red dots have shake awake which eliminates the need to turn it on. I have only one laser in my collection and its a green laser. It's on my competition PCC I use in USPSA competition. I found a use for it when shooting a long gun around a barricade especially on my weak side. As I said lasers have their place but I prefer a red dot over a laser for defense purposes. To each their own. My original posted bio is not all the different from yours.
