It’s an incident took place 50/70 days before the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Abraha, was a king from Ethiopia. He was jealous of Kaa'ba as people went to pilgrimage there. He made a church named Alqulaish and invited people there. But people still continued to go to Kaa'ba Sharif for pilgrimage. This is why he decided to destroy Kaa'ba with an army of African Elephants & finally got what he deserved. In Holy Quran there is a Surah named Surah Al Fil about this incident. Arabic word Fil means elephant.
