Right from my first KZbin upload. I made up my mind to speak with my Nigerian accent. What inspired this decision was watching KZbin videos of Indians and seeing how they speak Hindi not even minding they might have people who don’t understand Hindi on their channel. I’m still trying to grow my channel and this video just reinforced my convictions. Thank you, Kelechi.

I started my KZbin channel in December 2020 and also have 2 degrees. I used to be camera shy and only advertised my videos on WhatsApp. I had to step out of my comfort zone to promote the channel to Instagram, Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn. I used to think and worry about what other people would say when they see me. I’m stepping out of that mentality and just doing me. The world will adjust

As someone trying to grow their channel, I needed this. Thank you. We Nigerians youtubers, based in Nigeria need to stick together. Let us be encouraged, and continue to keep posting out videos.❤❤❤ The sewing side of youtube is something I've always been enamored with, but making clothes "appealing" to the public is very very expensive. Given people are more interested now in the kind of outfits celebrities are wearing to weddings. So its a little limiting and frustrating to invest so much money (going far well onto the thousands and more, to even attempt recreating it) and time to a video and not get enough views. Its really been testing tbh, and can be discouraging. However I'll keep going, and I'm grateful for the views and subscribers I've gotten so far. 😃😊
