I've been noticing in the videos I've been seeing that it does dry down darker. No one has really been mentioning it though which is crazy! I don't think it oxidizes from what I've seen, just dries down darker which is probably due to the amount of pigment. Great review!

@@vanessarivers8439 From what I've read oxidation can be caused by skin oil, ph balance, primers, and temperature over the course of the day. Dry down happens when water leaves the product within minutes of it being exposed to the air. I left some of this foundation on my mirror, and when it dried I put some new foundation next to it. There was a considerable difference, the dried foundation was darker. However on my first impression on my face it oxidizes a little. But I've only worn it once.

The shade matching is pure perfection!!! I LOVE this whole line of products! The foundation is my hands down favorite! It feels and looks like a $60 luxury foundation!! I’m very oily, but I set this with their Kalahari powder or my Fenty setting powder in Cashew and man…..all day long, into the wee hours it ho,do and looks fabulous!!! I agree, this is such a value!! I also love the concealers and lipsticks too! I wasn’t as crazy about the sticks though…though I think they’d be great for someone with dry skin. I can’t wait to order their bronzers which I’ve seen and heard are fabulous! Thanks for such a great video! I wear Kampala too and like you, it’s a tad deeper, but as you stated, after powder and highlight it all comes together beautifully. OMG. You just covered all the shades that I was questioning. I used the shade founder on Juvias website to obtain the shades close to my skin tone and you swatched every single one of them. My skin is similar to yours in multi color with hyperpigmentation and acne scars. You did a great job in describing Juvias tones and undertones so thank you for that. In short, your detailed posting help me a lot in making my selection. I will be buying Kampala and Somalia but now have to decide; should I wait for Ulta to sell (stocked in stores in June) or buy from the website...

to be 100% honest since you arent 100% sure i would highly suggest to just hold up for a couple of days, luckily you have the option to try them out in person so you can do your own swatches against your skin and be 100% sure of your shade.. at least now you have an idea of what shade to look out for..xo

Great review Kelechi!! I am a little lighter than you, and it is something I do know, wear a shade that is slighter darker and use a highlight to basically tone it down or make it more my complexion. Weirdly enough, Accra is what I ordered and swatched at Ulta. The other shades looked too yellow or too red on me, even if it was my shade. Thank you for the detailed review, you covered it all! 👌

I noticed in the comments that you used 340 at first. I’m so glad you did! Not too many people have a demo of that shade and no one mentions that it oxidized. I’m a tad bit darker than you with a golden undertone. (Golden Almond in Bobbi Brown) I ordered 340 and with highlighting I think it should work. Thanx for the video. First time watching.

340 also has a golden undertone, so I am guessing you can definitely make it work!! its always better to go darker if you are not sure of your shade, but I hope the demo gave you a good idea of what 340 looks like. xoxox

So I don’t know if it’s just me or the ulta near me, but the swatches and foundation shades that the KZbin’s received are different from what’s in my ulta store. For example, akra is a beautiful medium dark shade, when swatched here but in my ulta store it’s a few shades darker. Please comment below if someone else noticed this?
