Amazing News: Finca Cortesin will host the Solheim Cup 2023!!
I vlogged this gem during the summer, it has been a marvelous day playing this TOP 5 Spain and TOP 100 Europe course with my friend Noemí Jiménez. Noemí has been a member on the Ladies European Tour's Top50 for some years now and Finca Cortesin is something like her homecourse - so she will do all intorductions to the holes, and I will do my best to play along.
Besindes the Solheim Cup 2023, Finca with it's demanding Cabell Robinson Design hosted a couple of important tournaments, especially the Volvo World Matchplay Championships.
Although it is a spectacular course and actually a pretty good matchpla-course, it is not at all walkable and it certainly is demanding for the spectators to follow the pros around.
However, I think it's worth a visit, also because of the just marvelous guest experience. If you can, stay at the hotel and experience one of the best hotels and facities of this world.
In case you wonder: the butterfly icon of Noemi represents DEBRA, an international organisation taking care of children and families with the Butterfly Syndrom (Epidermolysis Bullosa, Piel de Mariposa). thank you Alex, glad you enjoyed it! I am thinking about a short video just about Bermuda greens. If you don't play them often, they can be quite irritating imhop. You need to adjust speed and direction according to the grain, that' sometimes really tough.
