I actually prefer them without the black base because I feel like they’re meant to be vibrant colours and the black makes it less obvious if you’re not in certain lighting, oh but it does go well with very sheer nail polish

I agree with all your opinions here - yellow looked good and not pee-nail, the only one in Infinite shine that went over Black was the first one. My fAve chore is putting away clean dishes or laundry but doing those is ok. But ewwwww with the licking!!!! (Unless she only did it before putting them in the dishwasher.)

I have that same problem (not really problem) about cleaning things. Not in my marriage. But when I stay with my dad. I make sure I wash the dishes. Do the laundry. And basically anything else. I saw him doing chores one time. And I was horrified!! I already have germ issues. And that really set me off. So while he was out golfing. I cleaned like I’ve never cleaned before. LOL! How he considered cleaning with water only is beyond me. What I can’t explain is how I clean out the fridge and pantry while I’m there. And when I go back a couple years later. He has expired stuff in there. That is past date or my last visit?! 🤔 😂😳 But at least I didn’t see him lick dishes clean. 🤭

There's SO much more to nail polish than holo! Iridescent flakes, glitters, textures, multichromes, and even mattes are gorgeous. Please don't only look for holo polishes, you'll miss out on so many!!

Got half the infinite shine polishes when they were first launched on QVC in the UK. Since then I've been playing with the idea of getting some of the other colours in this collection, my only problem is they're always better value in a "set" and this Video hasn't helped convince myself that I do or don't need them all but I now have to go and buy a black and white polishs 🙈🥰🥰🥰🥰 Thanks Kelli

I actually like Your Lime To Shine. In certain light it reminds me of a Frozen Lime Daiquiri! I have never been a fan of the Infinite Shine line, the formula doesn't seem to last as long on my nails and it usually pretty streaky for me. I'll make an exception this time, LOL!

The Hidden Prisms don't go anything near opaque on my slightly longer nails in 4 coats. Highly disappointing as I kind of want obnoxiously green nails. I'll have to try them over other colors. Pearlized are a huge no on me, they always look wonky.

The first group of polishes were better over black than the second group only because the first ones had that element of what can only be described as magic 🤣 I sure wasn't expecting the color transition. 🤔 I wonder if you did a crackle design in black on a white nail then topped it...I'm imagining it to be like a shimmering iridescent marble stone. 🍽 Don't mind washing dishes however I have a hatred for the silverware and cheese graters.

I like doing dishes too. I prefer washing my Corelle plates by hand, I don't put them in the dishwasher. I know they are dishwasher safe but they are my favorites so I just handle them with more care. My fear is that I will drop them on the floor. Hopefully not. Regarding this collection, they are nice. I like the sheer shimmery colors that are meant to be so. Pearlized is nice, but prefer the sheer shimmers more.

I'm late to this video but I have Magic Hour and Pigment of my Imagination. They both take 4 coats to get the level coverage you got in just 2 coats. I went ahead and bought a similar cream color for each to use as a base coat. It never occurred to me paint them over black. It looks great!

I am the same with dishes! Currently doing them as I watch this video, and most of your other videos I have watched while doing dishes. I find it to be relaxing because I’m accomplishing something and my mom taught me to make sure I go to bed with a clean sink so I don’t have a huge mess to deal with in the morning. It’s really helped me to sleep easier knowing I won’t have a ton of dishes to do in the morning. Plus I don’t trust how some of my roommates wash them... I’ve found food and grease still on dishes before...

Most of the polishes look amazing on black but I suggest putting them on nude/pastel or even white nailpolish - I do that sometimes with this kind of polishes and totaly love it, it gives a mermaid vibe to it :)

The black takes out the pigment of the polish and highlights the color of whatever shimmers or flakies are in the polish. So doing it over the black really proved that the infinite shines had very similar shimmers in their formulas, mostly differing in color.

What's your opinion on wrapping the tips of your nail? Some videos it seems you do that and some you don't. If you do wrap the tips, do you do it with the base coat and all layers of polish and topcoat or is there a different method? All my chipping seems to happen at the tips of my nail no matter if I wrap the tips or not. I have very similar length nails to you, so I'd love to know your method and opinion.

There aren't that many colors of flakies, so that's why some look the same over black. They put the same thing in a sheer jelly color base.
