OPI - Peru (Fall 2018) + Ulta & Sally's Exclusives | Swatch and Review

So I'm Peruvian and i think this collection has too many pinks and light nudes! I was hoping a copper, gold or silver (Incas had all the precious metals,) oh..or maybe an Aji yellow/orange. The most exciting ones I see are the green tones in the Ulta exclusive.

I love that their descriptions are not like "This is the color of the morning mist as it cascades down a mountain side on a chilly morning" they just say "It's grey-blue" LOL!!!

I audibly gasped when you showed I Love You Just Be-Cusco. I really love those kinds of red polishes, I might have to pick that one up. Other than that - meh. I like the slate-ish blue and the grey/taupe but I'm just so over pink & red collections ._.

The only shade I got from this collection is ayahuasca made me do it. I can't resist this shade, which, IMO is a really deep version of mermaid's tear. I couldn't find them online so I popped into the store and they were in stock.

@@Jamhands9 Yes, that's true. for example "gaucho" is a word used to call Argentines. perhaps OPI wanted to say "huaco" (which are a type of Inca ceramics)

I bought Don't Toot My Flute because I've been wanting a light, bright cool-toned purple for a while, but overall this collection is so boring to me. All blue, purple, pink, red, nude and all creams! Where are the shimmers? I feel like OPI never does shimmers anymore.

My bottle of Ayahuasca Made Me Do It broke and covered about 15 other bottles that I bought at the same time 😣 By the time they arrived in the mail and I was done cleaning everything up and finally back online to order it again it was gone.

Where’d you buy it from? Ulta is notorious for shipping polish with not enough packing materials to pad them. Good news is they’ll refund or replace the ruined polishes if you call them.

I’m Peruvian and I’m really disappointed with this collection!!! I mean, the names are ok but the colors are boring. This just not represent the life and colors of my country :( so saaaaad , they missed an opportunity to play with shimmers and metallics :(
