Fun fact, Dogmeat is actually played and voiced by a female German Shepard called River, who started as the pet of the developers Joel and Michelle Burgess but ended up an integral part of the Fallout 4 team. There are no stock sounds used, everything Dogmeat says and does was recorded and motion captured by River herself, who was famously patient and gentle. She died in 2021, but she will definitly never be forgotten as long as people play Fallout.

The numbers in the VATs display are your chance to hit that spot. The shotgun has a bad chance to hit beyond 10-15 yards. You were too far away from the stunted yao gui to hit it with any real chance.

I don't recall ever finding that WayStation. The top five stinkiest fruits in the world are: Durian, Champedek, Pedalai, Marang and Jackfruit. You should do your updates at Sanctuary, because that is where your materials/resources are.

Interesting to see someone is picking up Fallout 4 in 2024. 😊 keep up the play-through, love it. Based on your skill level, I would suggest you avoid fighting mobs either with skull or a star on the name. They are very strong and have the potential to kill you. 😊 you can try to kill it but only if you feel confident.

Two small but helpful tips :) 1. Don't know if anyone told you already, but you do have a flashlight (activate anytime when it's dark by holding down the Pipboy button) 😊 2. Most important thing with VATS is using it at the right time (depending on situation). I see a lot of people using it when nothing's going on, but then forgetting to use it when being chased or surrounded by enemies - a situation where VATS really shines! Bc it targets everything around you 360° no matter how fast they run or whether they're in front or even behind you. And yes there are also perks ofc (for example increasing perception, getting "action girl", etc), but most of it imo come down to timing and how close enemies are. 🙂 Cool Let's Play so far btw, I'm really enjoying it. ^_^ And Dogmeat looks great at the end indeed. ;D Next stop in main quest: Virgil. Looking forward to it! (ps: oh and psst.. if you want a fun side-quest thing, revisit the Memory Den in Good Neighbor and check the red door on the right wall. ;] )

In the settlements you "help", they become part of the minuteman network. You can assign people to farm or do other jobs and if you have too many people you can send them to other settlements. You should dump your junk in one of the work benches in the settlement. The storage is connected within a settlement, so you can look at the settlement inventory at any workbench. AFAIK most places in the world has persistent storage, so you can collect a bunch of junk, shove it in a container and fast travel back to pick it up later. You might want to examine clothing and weapon items more closely. In the PC version it shows any benefits of the item on the inventory screen, but that doesn't seem to happen on the PS5. As you discovered alcohol gives you extras strength for a short while and dulls your intelligence. Other food and clothing items can do the same.

Marz check out the mods for console, they should be in the main menu, I remember using a mod years ago that let's you have dogmeat as a permanent companion and also choose another companion to come with you. It was called Basic Companions Helper or something. Worth looking into.

A piece of advice I am not sure will be read, but I think you need to start spec'ing into a specific weapon build. The late game is not as forgiving as the early game, at least on harder difficulty levels. A crit build with Agility and Luck (and Kellogg's pistol as your main weapon), or sell some stuff and try to pick up Spray 'N Pray (commando and demolition expert skills). Just my 2 cents!!!

bout protectrons. you can usually pick there job/personality befor setting them free. and each one of them has a turn hostile condition. rather easy to pass. if ur in the know. (default settings show 4 lines only, specifics below) - contruction - requieres you to wear a construction helmet. not waering one is violating the law > hostile - subway control - requieres a subway ticket - police - honestly dont remember :D - medic - no idea

Marz likes the auto weapons but I really didn't like how Bethesda balanced them. A few shots from a semi-auto version would do the same damage as a magazine load of auto gunfire. Not realistic...I wish they'd found some other method to balance it out rather than the obvious drain on your bullet count. But I'm always happy to watch other people's playstyles and discovery.

VATS, numbers on each section of your target(e.g. head, left/right arms /legs) is the likelihood of hitting you targets. Your AP (action points/bottom right screen) during VATS determines how many VATS changes you have to attack a target. If you want cool shots for your streams do a VATS (Stealth)/ AP(endurance) targeted play through and every shot/crit you hit will result in an amazing cinematic. I started in fallout 4 and began to love the Special system for New vegas once I knew what I was in for. Love the streams glad too see others loving the fallout games 🥰 (You may know by now just wanted to say because of how cool the cinematic stuff is for streams, thank you for playing fallout, defo play New Vegas. 100000% better than fallout 4) :)))) 🙏
