She is a very interesting character. The reason she is who she is, is because of her father. That is probably why she holds on very tightly to, and expresses such deep, crazy love for, Beck. She doesn't trust a lot of guys/males, but she has trust for him. She may not trust him explicitly, but she does implicitly. He holds a crucial place within the recesses of her mind. He is her catalyst. He is her salvation; he pulls her out of her dreary dark hole, and gives her shelter. He is her faith. Her candle that lights up all of her darkness. Seemingly a lot of pressure to put on one individual, but he has the will and strength to bare her weight, because her weight isn't considered a burden to him. Maybe she is volatile with him, because she is constantly testing him, to see if he would crumble, or remain steadfast and solid. To push him to his limits, and see if he can take it and still stay. It ls like every time they breakup, it gives her more hope of the existence of virtue and love....because he always comes back to her. A very nuanced and complicated pairing, with a lot of hidden beauty.
