How can you sing like this and not walk around with a giant ego? She is amazing. I was not prepared for this. I think Kelly has an innate sense of pitch and control that even other great singers don't have. I am borderline OCD with a crazy sense of pitch and the smallest deviation flips me out. Kelly and Gladys never let me down. Kelly is absolutely the best American Idol find ever and one of the best living American singers period. Fantasia second, Carey Underwood third. Total respect.

I wish she would release more soul-inspired music like this. Kelly is one of those singers that most people do not know is a real vocalist because her singles on radio are simple pop-rock. So you have millions of kids thinking Ariana Grande is "awesome" and "best singer of this generation" etc because she can sing in the whistle register (so can kelly), but they have no clue. Kelly has that deep bass to her voice that all great females have and she has a unique smoky tone that is not common among pop stars. Maybe she can release music similar to adele or emeli sande so she can still be soulful but pop enough to be played on radio.

Warren Carter hopefully modern soul/r&b with a pop flare like a sam smith. Hardcore R&b has a smaller audience. Like Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Jill Scott R&b does not really have a mainstream appeal.

I just saw this video and I'm amazed at the comments for and against Kelly and Aretha Franklin. They are both GREAT vocalist in DIFFERENT genres and being in the biz they BOTH bring greatness vocally to the table. The sound in this video is horrid but as far as vocally Kelly put heart into that performance and it was damn impressive! Once again, it's the SOUND that horrid, bad soundman, and as far as the comment about Christina's version of this song-no comparison-Christina version was all mechanical and just belting out loud vocals and going through the motions but Kelly sung from her heart-2 thumbs up to Kelly for her rendition and 2 thumbs up to the Queen of soul, Aretha's rendition and even Christina's version-all GREAT vocalist!

It's a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX10V The price is very reasonable and the camera is nice and small light. This was the first show I used it. I really like it and the sound quality is quite good. It is a little distorted at this show because I was front row, DIRECTLY in front of a speaker. The other shows I used it at the sound wasn't distorted at all and the bass didn't cancel out either.
