I don't know how to make a playlist lol 6. What's active wear? T-shirt and shorts. Done 7. Classic Disney. 8. Developing film 9. Paul Rudd now. 10. Mall vs Online: depends what you're buying. Some things need to be tried on, touched, sat on, etc 11. Streaming 12-14... Yes, remember them all! Plus, Lisa Frank, roller skating, rainbow everything, Jams, Vans, banana seat bikes, sunin in my hair (just made it orange 🤦‍♀️), The Thriller video premiere, Luke and Laura's wedding (if ya know, ya know), Princess Di's wedding... This was fun Kelly. Thx for the memories 💜

So I was watching this video in the yoga studio at our apartments, and decided, “Hey, it’d be a great idea to make this into an ab challenge where every time she chooses 80s you do a left side plank, when she chooses now, you do a right side plank, and when she can’t decide you go back to center”…. I forgot that Kelly likes to elaborate.. a lot.. haha… which i love about her… but basically now I’m ripped 🤪😂

What a great video!!! I can relate to some of the things on the video although I was born in 1990. We had some of those things going on in the 90’s too, which made me go back in time. I have no doubt that the 80’s and 90’s were the best decades and all of those who born during this time had an unforgettable childhood and teen years. I’m so glad I was born in the 1990’s.

I was born in '89 and spent most of my childhood in the '90s, yet I remember these. Also, Mum and I lived in the dinosaur age taking a while to catch up to civilisation, so we'd have these. Cassette tapes, cassette players and stereos, VHS cassettes, VHS player, vinyl, a record player, dial-up internet... Cabbage Patch Kids, My Little Pony, Jenga, Polly Pocket (I used to play with those as a child in the '90s), Game Boy, those electronic cars for kids (never had one, though), Magic 8 Ball, those Fisher-Price medical kits, roller skates, those view master things, those old slide viewers (we still have it), I loved Charlie Brown and Snoopy! Phone booths (pay phones). The list goes on!

I really enjoyed reading the back of the movie boxes for half an hour…… I do not miss the late fees, having to rewind the movie cassette before turning it in, or having to find a movie you didn’t turn in after lending it to a friend…..,🤣🤪

The mixtape took lots of time and thought to put the songs in the right order and correct side of the tape. When you messed up you had to make sure the old song couldn't be heard just before or after the new song. It was a show of love to get a mixtape, which then got used until you couldn't play it anymore.

I was born in 1981 and a lot of these would be my choices as well. And omg all the girls in my neighborhood and at school would have their hair crimped and also the taller hair, the better, it seemed lmao! And when it came to the boys, many of us would rock a "business in the front, party in the back" style and for sports gear, we would all wear hideous neon colored outfits. The cassette and pencil struggle was real, as was having to rewind before returning the VHS movies back. And taking photos definitely had more of a purpose then where you had to hand in the film to get it developed and you waited in excitement to see how the pictures turned out. Now you can see them the second they're taken and half the excitement is gone. My mom loved taking photos and making physical photo albums but she never does that anymore because all she ever does now is taking pictures with her iPhone instead. This was a fun video and for someone being the same age as you, I felt it definitely applied to me too! 80's kids rule! :)

does everyone remember wanting to call your crush or even just a person you really want to be friends with, on a landline? Like you are so nervous then you will dial the numbers, but before you press the last number you would chicken out and hang up. Then call waiting came and it was like awesome talking to two people at once. Then three way calling happened and it was a game changer. Then aol instant messenger came and the phone was no longer relevant until the cell phone.

My husband put’s together a photo book for his parents, my mother and us for Christmas every year. Oh and I adore Paul Rudd but my maiden name is Rudd and although I know I am not related to him (I’m an Aussie) I just can’t! Editing to add: I’m 40 this year too, I always thought I was at least 5yrs older than Kelly, I just remember her looking so young on Idol. I had already bought my first house when she had won.

A trapper keeper is just like a binder/organizer, for school notes. Back then it was also a way to declare your "idols" as girls would insert glossy mag posters on front & back covers; I still clearly remember when I asked a classmate, and she said "You don't know Nancy McKeon?? She's Michael J. Fox's gf!" :) Also noticed as the schoolyear progressed the keeper became a struggle to carry lol.

Get one those photo frames that changes as they go or have an app that makes photo books for me I do not take photos if I am in different country or a simple vacation yes otherwise its nice if you grow a plant in your pot and when the different stages I would capture sprouted in a plant pot to full grown or have plenty of them so grow a plant or just a memo in the moment

I'm a 90's kid and I remember cassettes ( would take my walkman to school with me until the discman came out) and I had snap bracelets but the were covered in fabric to give the illusion of safety. I wouldn't pick either a crimp or a blow out because I have thick short hair crimping does nothing and blowing out my short thick hair makes it stand up, I love the original Star Wars, Cell Phones are better I still remember using dial-up at my grandparents house (my grandma had dial-up until I was 15), I honestly couldn't tell you if I prefer heartthrobs then vs. now because I wasn't that into the whole lets stare at boys thing growing up, I used to burn CDs but I had to record my violin practice on a cassette, I don't wear any work out clothes I were soccer shorts and a tank top and call it a day, classic Disney is wear its at, I am a photographer I take black and white film photographs with a vintage camera and then go to work and take pictures with a DSLR camera attached to the computer with wireless hardware, Paul Rudd got better with age, online shopping helps when I can't go out, and streaming is overrated.

I was born in 1994 so growing up a lot of that stuff was still around which was amazing the fact some of it has gone is a bit sad yeah modern technology is good in a few ways but some of it is has taken away some good stuff but I do agree modern gym wear is a lot better from what I've seen people use to wear in the 80'S
