I heard on a _Top 10 Creepiest Old Wives' Tales_ video that in North or South Korea (idk the exact one), when families move house, they often not sweep or vacuum their home or anything like that before moving to make sure that any bad spirits living in the current home don't catch on that the family is moving and try to follow them to their new home. It's apparently _so widely_ believed that certain moving companies _only help_ families move on days when the spirits are otherwise occupied (idk by what exactly).

We moved in the house my grandmother died in, --one day my wife and I went into the kitchen and we both saw my grandma as clear as day standing there. After comparing stories, we both saw the exact same thing, also a phone message from 3 months previous that had been recorded over and over every day (this was the 90s) suddenly played my grandmother's last message as though she had called that day. Believe, Kelly. Believe.

Has long there is no DEMONIC entety Spirit in the home nothing evil OK I be happy to live in my Granny's home no problem 😊 Besides I love the spirit world. I am so into the Paranormal. My daughter has never met my dad, he died in 2012 and she was born in 2015 but for some reason this year she keeps asking about him. We’ve never told her about him or showed her pictures of him but the other day I came across a Facebook memories post and it was a picture of my dad and she just points to him and casually says “that’s grandpa”. She’s never used the word grandpa before either. Then she asks my husband where grandpa is and my husband legit gives me a confused face because again she’s never said “grandpa” before let alone even know who he is. And then after waiting forever for my stunned husband to answer my daughter casually asks, “he died? Grandpa died?” My husband literally made a WTF face and became so pale. She doesn’t even know what death is. He’s ignored that conversation since and doesn’t want to talk about it. My dad’s death was the first in our family and so it was very very hard on all of us and still is to this day that’s why we don’t really talk about it.

Years ago I was watching my two little cousins outside in a gated patio playing jump rope, with my youngest cousin jumping & her sister and myself swinging the rope. I had my back to the gate and the front/street while my about 9 year old cousin was facing it. I noticed she started to lag on swinging the rope and looked up to see her distracted. I asked her what's wrong and she replied "Oh nothing just looking at that man over there..." I whipped my head around so fast but no one was there. Nothing but an empty driveway and street. My whole body was covered in goosebumps for some reason and I stopped the rope, looking for signs of anyone but the whole street was empty. I rushed us all inside so fast and asked my cousin about it but she couldn't say anything more than that she saw a man outside but lost him when she looked at me. It gives me chills to this day, not because there was "no one" there but because the possibility a man *was* there, watching us play. I'm just glad we had a gate separating us..

When our daughter was 20 months old she started telling us that there was an old lady that came into her room and talked to her at night. Another time she said that the old lady and man talking in her room kept waking her up. She would talk about them all the time mentioning that they were watching over her to protect her from harm. Eventually she started saying she couldn’t sleep upstairs. We did talk to our pastor who blessed the house and we moved her to a downstairs bedroom. She stopped talking about them. When she was three we moved to a different house and while I was unpacking I came across some pictures of my grandparents who had passed away long before she was born and she had never seen pictures of them because we didn’t unpack anything while we lived in a rental house. While I was going through them my daughter came over to see what I was doing and she pointed at one photograph and said those are the people who came to my room at night. I was floored. Even though I grew up in Virginia and my maternal grandparents lived in Florida we had a very close relationship and had written letters to each other since I was 3 (with help from my mother) and that continued after my grandma passed away suddenly when I was in 4th grade. My grandpa took over writing to me right up until he was 90 years old and his arthritis prevented him from writing anymore. I still wrote to him and my Aunt who was taking care of him would read them to him and she wrote letters back for him up until a few weeks before he passed away at 92. My daughter is named after him. I decided to use his name as her middle name to honor him. Her name is Kyra Amédeé which is French and it means a gift or friend from God. She is a true miracle Rainbow baby having lost 6 pregnancies before she was conceived in 1999 after 10 years of trying to get pregnant. I suffer with severe PCOS which causes infertility and miscarriage, and can cause you to develop diabetes which I did. Because I have extremely severe allergies to almost everything outside and in my body responded to pregnancy and the pregnancy hormones as if they are allergens and it attacks them leading to early miscarriage. I knew when I ovulated and when she was conceived because I had become very intune with my body. I didn’t get my period and I had pregnancy symptoms yet every pregnancy test came up negative even blood tests. I kept taking them and had been to multiple doctors including my gynecologist who didn’t do a test and put me on something to start my cycle. A few days later a friend I hadn’t seen in months stopped by the school where I taught and the first thing he said was “Congratulations on your pregnancy “ when asked why he thought that he said I was glowing big time and to go take a test. I did the next morning and it turned positive instantly. It was a high risk pregnancy but I cherished every minute of it.

I've heard it said by more the one medium that loved who have passed will often go to children to communicate as kids are less intimidated and less freaked out by spirits than adults. My dad " visited " my great nephew the night he died.Leo gave out to the liv.room and told his dad" Papa said he had to go now and that he loved me" Leo was 2 and didn't know Dad was dying.Leo's a teenager and says Papa watch over him all the time.Leo feels his presence.

This is a story about when I was little that I have been told by my mom and aunt. I was about 3 or 4 and I was laying in my bed and my they walk into my room. Apparently I was looking at the cealing and talking to someone. They ask who I was talking to and I said Grandma Beback. They knew of no one named Grandma Beback so they called some of my aunts one said no and the other said yes but she died a couple of years before I was born. And no one knew of her.

My daughter saw dead people all throughout her childhood. Once, she saw a man in full military gear, that looked as though he was lost, and trying to get home. She insisted we go over there(across the street) to help him. No one was there. A month later we were trick or treating. We went down a block we usually don't go down. This block had a plaque at the end of it. It was a memorial for soldier that had froze to death, while walking home from the bus stop after deployment. There was a blizzard that night and he got lost. This was a couple blocks from where my daughter had seen that soldier. My daughter saw the man's picture on the memorial and said that he was the lost soldier she had seen.

My daughter is 2 now, about a year ago she got “attached” to a canvas painting of a crown my sister gave me before she was born. She would tell it “night night” and blow it kisses every night before bed. I asked my sister where it came from because she likes to yard sale, she got it from target. Months later (about a year and a half old), getting ready for bed and holding my daughter, she looks in the corner (opposite side of that painting) waves and said “hi.” I turned and looked at the corner and said “sweetie, do u see someone over there?” She responded with “yea mommy.” I asked “is it mean?” She said “no” and I asked “are you sure its not mean?” She looked me in my eyes and yea “mommy nice” then pointed to the picture, looked at the corner again and said “night night” and blew it a kiss.

Shadow men are not cool spirits at all 😳 they are negative and prey on fear and low vibration. Especially if he tells you they have red eyes or wears a hat, I would seriously consider buying some sage and smudging your house and your son to make it leave. Trust me, it's not to be played with. Other little kids passed on or kind spirits are fine because of the positive vibration but shadow men are a no go zone 😰🧨💔

When I was skeptical I asked him if there were any pictures of him in my living room of who he was talking about. He said yeah Nana, up there. Pointed straight to my brothers picture. I was estranged from my brother for 10+yrs, because I loved him too much to watch him kill himself with his choices.,anyway my grandson was only 6 weeks old when he was killed... he was having a full on conversation with him. I also just had 2 separate encounters with my grandmother that passed. It was an amazing experience.

I don't have twitter nor is this creepy but I wanted to add to this. A few halloweens ago I had probably the most wholesome interaction with a toddler trick or treating. I was handing out candy and this little kid, maybe four years old, came up to me and tried to grab candy out of the bowl. I pulled it away and asked them what's the magic word and the response was as follows. "...pleaaase?" The kid's mom and I started laughing so hard. I didn't have it in me to say no try again so I said "well yes, please is the magic word normally but tonight its 'trick or treat' " and handed them the candy still chuckling. To this day that has got to be my favorite Halloween memory ever. #becausetoddlers

I was a nanny to a girl from the time she was 1-6. She would always talk about a man who would sit in her closet and open it at night to talk to her. This went on until she ended up moving to a different down. This girl literally told me about this man for 4 years. Scared the shit outta me since I did a lot of nights babysitting her.

I have a feeling after my dad passed away, my son (2 at the time) would see him. We lived in a trailer that had a shed on the side by our driveway. Every single time we got out of the car he looked at the top of the shed, smiled and waved. Sometimes giggled. I like to believe it was my dad watching over us and after having 4 daughters my son was his 1st grandson. I also believe he saw bad things. When we moved he was terrified to upstairs alone and at times at night he would grab me around the neck and hold on tight, because he was absolutely terrified as he looked up at the same exact corner of our dining room. That was scary. But no one ever experienced anything strange there.

When my daughter was 3 I was getting ready to go on a business trip far away. She suddenly looked at me and said "Mommy I don't want you to die in a plane crash." It seriously freaked me out but I still went on my trip. A couple years later I was actually in an emergency landing on a plane and thought I was going to die. It was like she had a premonition. So creepy!

The house my husband and our 2 kids lived in, when my kids were growing up, happened to have a person who committed suicide in it. I learned of this a few years after we moved in. I never told my kids. I would randomly smell cigarette smoke and none of us smoked. Every now and again, my kids would tell me that they smelled cigarette smoke too. I remember telling the ghost that we meant him no harm and I'm sorry that he found life so hard when he was alive. Nothing ever creepy happened, just the smell of someone smoking now and again.

@@katbowl9971 I have no idea. It's very weird. edit: when it first started happening I thought that maybe it was the people that lived there before us may have been smokers and the smell penetrated the walls or something, but we lived there 16 yrs and it happened randomly to the end.

When my mom was in the last few months before she passed from cancer in 2015, my great niece was upstairs in the bathroom and when she came down from washing her hands, she said she had looked in the mirror in the hallway behind her and said she saw a tall man going into my mom's room. She described him as gray hair and thin. My mom had been having dreams about different relatives visiting her. I asked my niece what he was wearing and she said a blue uniform. We all just looked at her and she had described my dad. There is no way of her even knowing that since he passed in 1984. My niece was born in 2006. My dad wore his uniform for work everyday but Sunday and the pictures we have of my dad that are out he was dressed for family functions. 😨

Yeah, most of the time kids never make this sht up. Idk why and how I can remember certain random memories of me seeing suspicious shapes and entities moving when I was very young (like 5ish to 9). My older brother was the scaredy cat in my family and would ask me to get things from dark or creepy places in the house or outside and in turn he'd give me candies or chocolates as a bribe. So yeah I'd take the bribe and do it and oftentimes whenver I'd pass by the dark/creepy spots I'd always see someone/something in my peripheral vision lurking. It didn't really make sense back then so I'd just ignore it and proceed with what I'm doing but as years go by, It kinda scared me a bit knowing I remember exactly how "it" /"they" looked like. Also As I was growing, I noticed that they show less and less until they never happen again. It made me glad. So yeah be mindful of your kids, specially the toddlers just in case.

The last story is about me when I was a toddler, my mom sent me this video today and was like "Look Kelly picked my submission about you". Was pretty funny, but also gawd I was a weird kid. If only Kelly knew we had met twice in the past I'm sure she'd be a little spooked.
