Like, maybe he got up that morning STOKED about the hot take celeb news on Kim K. And then from there, he just assumed that letting that topic hijack the entirety of the interview would be super cool. (It's not.) But a lot of times, it's the producers pulling the strings, and the interviewer is just the "on air talent." So who knows what he was directed to do. But still. It was lame.
