I think this album was necessary for Kelly’s healing. Great vocals and emotional intensity. I think it would be fantastic if her next album were full of bangers - rock, pop, some catchy, get up and dance music. As a fan from Day 1 who has seen her 3 times in concert, I believe an artist should put out songs they believe in, but I do miss the songs I could sing at the top of my lungs on the treadmill or into a hairbrush. Kelly has one of the top 3 voices of our generation. Let’s get that voice on a massive anthem for feeling fabulous. I heard her sing a cover of a Taylor Swift song and immediately thought a song written by T Swift sung by Kelly would be an absolute SMASH.
