it’s so funny to see artists say they took songs off because they were too specific, but I feel like those are always SUCH good songs. that brand of song has taken off so much recently with taylor swift, noah kahan, gale, etc

I’m impressed with her reasoning for not including those specific songs. She is protecting her young children in not releasing those songs and I admire her for that. As she has indicated, it’s not just her that would be affected. I’m sure that the raw emotions will come through but still be universally relatable. It’s different for Taylor Swift who can be as specific as she wants as there are no children involved who can be hurt. Surely if you have children you can understand that.
