Kelly is just plain “IT” on so many levels. I fell in love with her back on American Idol 1 and STILL LOVE THIS ORGANIC SUPERIOR TALENT! This gem is Miranda’s finest and I love having Kelly do a version now too! That said, I do prefer Miranda’s quiet delivery a tad more.

It’s a song that exudes sadness, grief, and heartbreak and she exudes it when she sings it. It’s not meant to be so embellished and belted out as Kelly does it. This is honestly my favorite Miranda Lambert song. I remember the first time I heard it - I was blown away and listened to it over and over and over again on repeat for hours ..

Ok I love Kelly and I love her powerhouse voice and all of her songs and I love her positive, peppy personality and her humor. But this song, this favorite song of mine from Miranda Lambert - I just think Miranda does it best. It’s a song about pain and heartache. When Miranda sings it, it’s quiet and broody and sad and just exudes heartbreak. When Kelly just sang it, it sounded like an upbeat pop song ..🙁. Love Kelly’s voice (she can just sail through ANY song it seems without even barely trying) but I don’t think she did justice to this song ..

I absolutely love Kelly! Amazing vocalist, great personality and super humble! I typically love every performance I see. However, the big, loud notes take away from the subtle lyrics of this song. Kelly has far superior vocal abilities to Miranda, but I'm sticking with Miranda's version here. Some things just shouldn't be changed!
