As well as being one of the most well-known interior designers in the industry, Kelly Hoppen is first and foremost a business woman, starting her own company ‘Kelly Hoppen Interiors’ in 1975 when she was just 16 years old. Today, Kelly is supporting our Don’t Skip Your Screening campaign, opening up about why she didn’t get screened for nearly 10 years, and how she almost cancelled even on the way to the appointment, before urging people to make sure they don’t miss theirs.

I had two yearly mammograms once I turned 50 then 4 year's ago I had a call back, to say I was petrified is an understatement, I had to into the city for an ultrasound which thankfully turned out to be a cyst. Instead of complete relief I felt very unsettled for days. I've now missed a mammogram due to the fear of it happening again, in fact every test I have now leaves me dreading a call back message. I'm due for a mammogram now and I get reminders all through the year but I just can't go for it
