Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it. I dont think I'll regret this purchase, when it arrives i know I'll be able to make good use of it. That pot and pan set would make a great vessel to hold enough dehydrated soup mix i make to do three or four meals instead of cooking with it. This set up will pair nicely with any different combinations of my gear

Hiya, it is a very good investment for most camping and outdoor trips 👍 i use my mini cast iron pot for cooking on the base now. Hope you get good use and have great trips out when yours arrives. Let me know how you get in with it 👌

Congratulations on your new Kelly kettle🎉 I carry my tracker quite a bit with just the hobo stove and the kettle and the bass new pot support because I usually end up using a different kit to cook with and I have my favorite cup that I carry. And I also make extra firewood because usually if I'm sitting in the woods fixing food or eating drinking or any other entertainment thing I find out to do my Kelly kettle gets my fire going and then I just add wood to it to keep it going without having to build a big 🔥 fire!! I often bring a saw and a little belt hatchet for processing my firewood because 511 and my elders neck knife doesn't do well using it for a wood splitting .. I have recently purchased a Japanese style hatchet because I want to see how well it will do at splitting wood.. enjoy your new Kelly kettle I love mine I have three( base camp)( scout)( tracker.

Nice mate, im thinking of getting the next size up also for when my littlen joins me. Ive not needed an axe as yet, my Mora Robust keeps me well fueled for my day camps. If been thinking of getting a small hatchet or light billhook for when i need bigger wood. Let me know how your Hatchet goes 👍

Lights up better and faster with the chimney on .. make a small nest near the bottom hole .. put the chimney on .. light the nest .. the airflow from the hole up through the chimney fans the flame .. then load more kindling through the top of the chimney

Hi matey, thanks for that, I'll try that method next time out with it 👌🏕 thanks for watching and commenting 👍

I like the fire mat. Is it what plumbers use to stop burning walls?
@t_poutsider Жыл бұрын
Yes it is 👍 helps reduce any trace left and anything falling out the fire doesn't ignite anything nearby 👍🏕

Comes with a tiny pot, a useless frying pan, and a great bulky chimney that only boils about a pint, and all for near double the weight, bulk , and price of most other kits.
@t_poutsider Жыл бұрын
Yep it holds 600ml which for me is 2 brews 👍 I use it as it boils fast using minimal fuel, so for what I do it comes in handy. The pot n pan like you say is very small which is why I rarely use it 😬

Well your comment shows negativity and the inability to use rational thought. Thanks for showing your character. Mine arrives in a few days and with my experience using twig stoves I know I could boil water on this and cook a full meal for two with no problem and in little time using minimal fuel with a kit that weighs not much more than a pound. Btw a chimney is hollow you can fill the space with whatever you can fit in there. That pot and pan if not used for cooking would make a great vessel to hold enough of my dehydrated soup base mix or anything else and it all fits in the kettle. Hope you get better.

@@MrMann703 Don't cry, just because you are emotionally attached to out of date crap. BTW its a chimney with water jacket, but still a chimney like it or not. Go back to school.

They are bit cheap but to be honest with this kit you get everything you need to brew up and even light cooking. So by time you buy mugs, boiling pot, stove, pots n pans your probably not far off that cost 🤣👍 also less washing up when brewing up I find... win win 💪🤪 cheers for the comment and watching my vid, much appreciated
