Because Shannen Doherty was a temporary gift from God. That's why she had a hard life. People like her attract users, and then when they snap back at all the negativity thrown a them, they get blamed for it. She was tired in the end. It's a burden being talented and beautiful at a level that burns people's eyes. It's almost not even worth it. I think Shannen suffered a lot throughout much of her career, she was just very strong and dignified and painfully beautiful, everyone just assumed she didn't care. She cared. Someone with her instincts as an actress is deeply caring, deeply vulnerable. Good actress, though... she kept the brave facade. But there's so much a person can take in life.

@ a couple of episodes later with the end of Season 4. the story went she had a great opportunity to play Theater in London. Kissed Dylan goodbye (literally) with something along the lines of „give me something that’s worth coming back for“. I’d hoped for years Brenda would come back 💔💔

Shannon D. (Brenda) was always a better actress than Kelly. I watched the show for a while after she left constantly hoping she would return. The show didn’t have the same zest and pizzaz without Shannon D. Luke P. and Shannon D. made the show.
