@@ThemDevons Cool! There are a lot of clips of her singing gospel. She was in a gospel singing group with her sisters back in the day called The Price Sisters. She also always included one gospel songs on all her albums. Usually as a bonus song. A lot of R&B artists used to do that back in the 90’s. Most R&B singles had roots in gospel music. Most grew up singing in church.

Because there is nothing wrong with singing secular music. We do secular things everyday. I don’t know why we act like singing secular music is such a big deal when our jobs, schools, stores, tv shows, etc are all secular. Matter of fact what we call secular music is often not as secular as we claim. Secular means no religious or spiritual basis. I’d argue that Kelly’s R&b music actually still has a religious and spiritual foundation.

She's not praising you, she's praising God. You can't say anything about anyone's anointing, you're not God. This "anointing" that most church folks say they don't feel coming from others has more to do with cheap emotionalism than true anointing. You help more by walking your own walk with Christ than by talking about the anointing of others. That's why the church is getting more emptier everyday. Church folks just don't know how to shut up and mind their own business.
