I'm going to cry like a little baby when Kelly retires. I first saw him surf in a contest when he was like 18 or 19. He surfed against a good friend of mine Bud Llamas. Kelly won the rest is history. It's filled with a lot of memories watching the Goat for all these year's. Kelly don't ever retire,so I don't have to cry like a little baby 😂

We sat on the bridge at boyton inlet that day and saw Slater fkn ripping that outside sandbar. It was insanity easy Hawaiian 12-15 ft. We were trying to find a corner where it was smaller and ended seeing that. The amount of water moving how far off the beach he was and how he destroyed it. Was something I'll never forget. 🙏🤙

@@boobtubereborn no I wish we were basically doing a multiple bridge checks and they were pumping sand on the south side so it was super hard to stay in a good spot. There was a ski and I think it was kechle towing him in. So amped to here how he found that spot and surfed it.. He's definitely 👽!!

Kelly is the biggest inspiration in my life and still continues to be. As a Australian I can honestly say I cried when you won Pipe too 😢. You truly are a Hero in so many peoples eyes. That was amazing. Growing up I looked up to a lot of athletes and for the better my life has ended up more like Kelly’s than any of the others. Watching his career has kept me interested in surfing and introduced me to so many positive people, activities and lifestyles. He is definitely the only one that I’d want to continue being inspired by as time goes on.

Like I literally seen the interviewer lick his mustache and then gave it a sniff check. omg then the interviewer like adjusted his cross legged position then rubbed his foot then low key smelled his hand.
