I will never understand why people would say that a sepcific song or type of music ISN'T music. You might not like and you have every right not to like a song or genre, but something being music or not is not an opinion, it's a fact. Nobody gets to decide what is or isn't music. Reggaeton isn't a genre I particularly like, but I would never go and call it not music, because it IS music. This is the same whining people have been making since music was invented. Purists said The Beatles wasn't music when they first appeared, would you agree? Of course not. They said the same thing about rap and hip hop, would you agree? Of course not. If you don't like it, don't listen to it, but don't diminish people's opinion if they do like it, would you like it if they said the same thing about you? I guess not. Live and let live.

Well, I don't call myself for a master to tell what is music or what is not. Somehow that is up to the listener. Even though common reggeton might be a commercial synthetic music with the same rhythm formula over and over, This Work by Mr Kelly is outstanding. I am imaging all the effort he put in making the harmony for the guitar of the song and the result is this work. That's just more than what I can do by now. If you think he just copied this Reggeton piece I don't think that's what he did.... He had to make a lot of theory music work besides getting the chords.
