That’s awesome you have a steady nighttime routine going - it certainly helps. Be prepared for the 4 month sleep regression. It can be difficult! It was much harder with my first baby then with my second because with the second I ended up sleeping a lot more with her in the rocking chair or bed and we ended up both getting more sleep. I found the book and website The Wonder Weeks very helpful as it talks about developmental “growth spurts” or leaps that baby goes through. It’s very interesting and can help explain when they get off their routine and you aren’t sure why.

I'm not a new mom, but I've raised over 350 babies for the last 39 years. Along with thier parents 😂 What I can tell you is ever since 2020 life for parents is different , a lot work from home but they try and keep their kiddos home and it's too stressful because they want that time to calm them, snuggle them and then the bosses call 'why do you have your kids home ' so I still get my kiddos 🙂 I will tell you, the struggle is real and will be for the rest of your life and even more so when they leave the nest. You are doing an amazing job! Enjoy every moment with her. But if you end up getting help as she grows and sleeps less. A nanny once or twice a week is where I started and you are still with her. Keep up the fabulous parenting ❤

Thanks for sharing your struggles. It feels good to know I’m not alone. My daughter was born 2 weeks after Wrenley and I feel the exact same way about breastfeeding.

I had my baby on Oct. 2nd and I was trying to breastfeed but we had difficulty with latching. But even after I got help from a lactation specialist and latching wasn’t the problem I kept having an overwhelming sense of sadness that I am now just exclusively pumping. I do wonder how many ounces your baby eats? Sometimes my girl goes through one bottle of 6oz and other times she goes through one and a half bottles. I sometimes feel it is like a race to keep up. But my husband thinks I’m worrying for nothing and am doing good to keep up with her. Love y’all’s videos ❤

Hi! Thank you so much ❤️ When I was exclusively pumping I was getting on average around 20 ounces a day, but I was having to supplement because it wasn’t enough for my baby. I’ve been breastfeeding now for a month and a half (and babies get more from the breast than a pump does) but I don’t know how much she’s getting from that. I still give a bottle here and there, but it’s mostly just to top her off if I can tell that she’s still hungry. However, as of a month and a half ago when I was still pumping, she was eating 4 oz and she was two months old. Every baby is different though! It’s definitely a lot for a mother emotionally and physically whether pumping or breastfeeding so please don’t be hard on yourself and hang in there ❤️

Can you please make a video on how you got her to breastfeed?

Do they still have the LA Leche league? Surely there is someone you can reach out to. Have you tried sleep training? Breastfeeding is so fulfilling but time consuming. I breastfeed 18 months and it was worth it. You do what is best for you! No guilt!!

Regarding the nursing issues, I'm wondering if she has been checked for being tongue tied? Not sure if it would affect her latching on but worth a shot. I think it is prevalent now, my daughter and 2 granddaughter were tongue tied and had it clipped after a yr old. My daughter who is 34 now had it clipped at a very young age

Can’t get any of your links to work. You should definitely make it easier to access your Amazon storefront.

We are working on it, but KZbin kinda makes it difficult. It is hard to link with shorts, BUT the links that are in the descriptions of our long form videos do work. Here is the link for our Amazon Store though... you just might have to copy and paste: www.amazon.com/shop/positravelty
