Indeed~~Whoever she may duo with is totally awesome~~I knew from the minute I saw her audition for Idol she was gonna win and become bigtime~~I was fortunate to see her in concert in 2007~~She was so funy and the way she interacted with the audience was the best~~It's 2024 and I'm still lovin her~She never changed as far as her personality ihoes~~So very real~~Fame nrver changed her~~But I do miss when she was younger, wilder and danced around the stage when performing~~But at least I get to watch her vids and music from back in the day~~People say her voice got better with age~~She still takes singing lessons which doesn't need~~Kelly admitted she sings depending on her mood~~But even back in the day when she won Idol, her singong was so good and could do anything with it~~I just miss the days when she was wild and the older vids~~But I guess we all have to grow up especially when you have children~~She'll always be my #1 Idol~~Have a bice day/nite and stay safe @Pamela-sk3bi~~💖💖💖😃😃😃~~

This song was only released to country radio during kellys push to country music. Mr. know it all country version-dont rush-tie it up. got her a grammy nomination and a female vocalist nom at the CMA... but the song wasnt released to the more obvious more appropriate format which were adult top 40/hot AC & adult contemporary/AC radios ... it wouldve been a classic!! But I understand their reasoning, country radios are fickle, they like their songs exclusively for them and kelly was trying to break into country. That didnt last lol 😂

I think Kelley Clarkson is one of the very few artists who has cross-over songs in Rock, Pop, and Country. She can sing any genre of music there if she wants to. She has an incredible voice that has so much natural range she can handle any song.

This song is soul comforting and makes your heart move a bit quicker in your chest at the same time. This is how the legendary country and soul singers used to do it. In the interview Patcast by Pat Monahan in 2013, over an hour, Vince mentioned how impressed he was by Kelly's voice. When he was recording "Don't Rush", he could really tell the quality of her voice. This rendition had such sweetness created by both. I am a huge fan of Vince. Congratulation to Vince on receiving the highest CMA honor as the second musician ever to receive - the Irving Waugh Award of Excellence this year.
