Daniel Levy Says New Movie 'Good Grief' Is A 180 From 'Schitt's Creek'

Daniel Levy dishes on his new Netflix movie "Good Grief," and how the film fulfilled his desire to go in a different direction after being in the comedy world for "Schitt's Creek." Daniel also shares how the passing of his dog just five days before getting the green light for the movie helped him explore the meaning of friendship and grief. Daniel also dishes on shooting the film in Europe, and admits he thinks the cast and crew worked harder in Paris because the lunches were so good.

First, the movie is a real gem. Daniel did a brilliant job, the pace was perfect, the story was perfect... If I could vote, I'd give it highest marks. Had to laugh at Kelly saying she tells her Mum everything. My daughter does too, and I love it. I don't know many 34 year olds that share what my daughter does. I'd rather her feel that she always has a safe place with me.

Man had a pleasure helping these two at my old job they are beyond genuine, down to earth and lovely people. I hope nothing but the best for these two to the years to come. Too bad luke is into more "twinning boyfriends" like 90 percent of gay community... Man Danny and Luke would have been the best couple ever lol. Man Dan has done it again giving us another project that speaks to people in real life not just one facet and what people can market.

I liked the movie before before the Paris part, i hate musicsl montages. I over all like the movie.

I was hopeful the film would be good, it was visually and Dan is a huge talent who grew up within the industry however the reality of another film representing extremely wealthy people but portrayed as everyday folk. Paris apartments with close views of the eiffel are worth over 4 million euros, a wasted opportunity to also not have the actor who joined in Paris have any context or backstory.
